Digital Content Editor

Métier is a luxury lifestyle brand with a strong track record of compelling content.  Our unique range of content that reflects our lifestyle has become a hallmark of our brand.  As we continue to grow quickly, we are excited to hire a new position, a Digital Content Editor, who will focus solely on strategizing and developing our content.

The Digital Content Editor will own our content plan.  Working closely with our Founder / Creative Director, our Content Editor will distil the bigger company messages into a compelling content plan and will own its development across all channels.  This role is at the heart of our brand and will be a key player in developing our fast-paced brand.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Develops our communications plan across all channels to drive a cohesive strategy that forwards the Métier brand and company objectives. Creates content for all channels including our website, newsletter, blog, organic social and paid social. Supported by a Graphic Designer and Brand Executive on the content team with close partnership to the Ecommerce team.  Also works closely with our Cultural Editor at Large for all cultural content initiatives and the Press and Events team. Reports directly into Founder/ Creative Director.

Key Personal Competencies/ Skills

• 5 years digital content experience with strong track record in writing, content strategy, content design and development, and experience working with multiple channels. Team player with excellent ability to manage direct and indirect reports. Highly strategic.  Ability to think ahead and connect the dots while anchoring back to the objective.  Proactive and passionate Self-starter/ entrepreneurial Thrives in a fast-paced environment Understands global marketplace Social media experience is a plus Strong alignment with the Métier brand identity
