THE ROLE:

You'll be responsible for motivating and leading a world class leadership & Stylist team, inspiring them to build and engage in relationships with our most valuable clients whilst supporting them to achieve and exceed their goals. You'll devise and drive the Private Client Southeast Asia, Korea and Australia strategy and growth plans. Your teams will contribute to our growth and ambition to be the number one luxury fashion player. In this role, you'll develop a unique skillset as you partner with senior management and functional leaders to design and implement the Private Client strategy, aiming to engage and drive customer loyalty, retention & new client acquisition with a seamless, exceptional luxury shopping experience.

We're looking for someone who is a natural leader who has a passion for inspiring, developing & upskilling a high performing team. You'll have a with strong commercial acumen, a deep knowledge of luxury/fashion and experience of managing sales turnover. You'll have a strategic mindset but action oriented, be able to manage senior stakeholders.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

    • You'll collaborate with the Global Senior Sales Director, Private Client to develop the overall Private Client sales strategy whilst also identifying key markets of growth and areas of opportunity within your regions with a vision of becoming famous for our Private Client Service in every local market.
    • You'll translate this strategy into an executional plan, focused on growing the Private Client segment in the Southeast Asia, Korea and Australia ensuring the customer is at the heart of every strategic plan with the support and collaboration of Fashion Concierge, Marketing and Client Development functions.
    • You'll devise sales generating strategies with a direct sales attribution model.
    • Working alongside the Private Client Marketing team you will devise clear customer inner tier growth/ sales plans & oversee the lifecycle of the private client tier for your region to retain & grow customer loyalty & retention.
    • You'll partner with the key stakeholder to develop sales actions & tactics to support the future growth and scaling of our Fashion Concierge service with a focus on high value & hard luxury categories whilst also ensuring full adoption of the service from the Private Client leaders and stylists.
    • You'll inspire and build a world class leadership & styling team, creating an environment of high performance where individuals are supported to achieve & exceed their key business and personal results.

    • You'll partner with key stakeholder to ensure full adoption and understanding of the Private Client and Farfetch Diversity & Inclusion roadmap supporting and championing a culture of conscious inclusion.
    • You'll build genuine connections with your team and will encourage and promote two way open and honest communication across all levels and functions.
    • You'll be responsible for motivating and guiding the Private Client Managers & Stylist to achieve their maximum potential, coaching them on their future growth plans ensuring that each person has a clear understanding of their personal career & development plan.
    • You'll coach and energise Private Client Managers on effective team management and leadership tactics.
    • You will be engaging them with the department vision and strategy and ensuring regular and clear communication.
    • You'll be accountable for team performance providing overall direction and working with Private Client Managers to set goals and KPIs, to ensure best-in-class client and sales generation.
    • You'll review sales activity and partner with Private Client Managers and the People Team to drive a high-performance culture e.g. recognition initiatives, managing underperformance.
    • You'll keep abreast of competitor Private Client sales strategies, updating the team to identify learning opportunities.
    • Work alongside your regional Fashion Concierge, Marketing and Client Development team to develop and carefully curate offline and online client touch points and offline sales activities which are in line with the Private Client brand guidelines.
    • You'll work closely with the Private Client Marketing team to ensure each of our Private Clients receive engaging, bespoke & relevant communications which highlight the best of Farfetch from both a product & service offering.
    • You'll collaborate with peer group leaders, Client Development and marketing teams on acquisition strategies, brand collaborations and partnerships to identify new business opportunities to aggressively grow our Private Client portfolio.
    • You'll collaborate with strategy and research teams to use BI (Business Intelligence) to identify key business trends and craft new market opportunities as we scale.
    • You'll partner with local People teams for your regions to attract and develop talent, managing escalated people issues when needed.
    • You'll collaborate with key stakeholders to maximise operational efficiency across the region and to ensure the teams understand and adopt new systems or processes whilst also offering feedback for future improvements and needs.
    • You'll impact and influence senior stakeholders (including C Level) to facilitate discussion and decisions, to align to the overall global Private Client strategy.
    • You'll define the regional budget and manage and control the costs and resources for your teams, with P&L ownership.
    • You'll contribute to medium to longer-term planning, including the budgeting process and team resource planning, ensuring resources are in place and operating effectively to meet business goals.
    • You'll take the lead on global projects, as and when required.

    • You'll have excellent senior stakeholder management skills, adopting a collaborative yet influencing style.
    • You'll have excellent commercial and financial acumen, and an ability to understand and interpret analytics and financials into recommendations; you'll have managed a P&L.
    • You'll be a problem solver with an ability to turn a challenge into a solution to maximise opportunity.
    • You'll have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
    • You'll be comfortable with ambiguity, adopting a flexible approach.
    • You'll have strong computer literacy and an understanding of the digital world.
    • You'll be willing to travel.
