Position Overview
The North America Media Lead, Polo & Sports, will be a pivotal member of the North America Media & Digital Marketing team, leading key brand campaigns for Polo Ralph Lauren, and our Sports partnerships (Olympics, Golf, Tennis, E-sports, and more). This fast-paced role works across print, out of home, TV, and digital media. The individual will be a key leader on the team, critical to contributing to the success of our strategic company initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a disruptive, innovative media mindset, with sound understanding of the full marketing consumer funnel, and a strong sense of brand judgement and customer centricity.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage strategic development, execution, and optimization of North America campaigns for Polo Ralph Lauren, and our Sports partnerships (Olympics, Golf, Tennis, E-sports, and more). - Direct responsibility of brand resonance and sentiment for the Polo brand in North America, inclusive of our Sports partnerships. - Strategic development of relevant brand media plans, converting vision into actionable plans communicating our brand messages in an elevated and efficient manner. - Advance campaign effectiveness through opportunities driven by relevant insights, reaching customer and brand goals. - Close collaboration with full North America Media team for full funnel media planning. - Strong partnership with the broader North America Media & Digital Marketing team for strategic 360-degree execution of brand initiatives and campaign launches. - Oversee creative briefing and asset approvals pipeline, assuring on-time delivery across internal and external teams, in alignment with media strategy and business stakeholders. - Manage complex campaign budgets across stakeholders, along with campaign forecasting. - Align media targeting for personalized and best in class storytelling across campaign touchpoints. - Innovative thought leadership and disruptive approaches to media formats, with an intimate understanding of new mediums. - Lead ongoing media performance to plan against customer, brand, and business KPIs, assuring a cadenced frequency of summaries, with regular contributions to campaign recaps and insight summaries. - Develop deep insights for senior leadership, employing data storytelling with advocacy for strategic optimizations. - Lead relevant agency and vendor relationships, developing and maintaining on point agency and vendor deliverables, along with strong relationships. Continual focus on relationship management and capabilities assessment. - Effectively partner with widespread cross-functional partners in the formulation, development and execution of new media initiatives. - Stay current and knowledgeable on new developments, trends, and technologies in the digital marketing and paid media space. - Effectively lead, coach and develop direct report.

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

* Experience in multi-channel media and/or digital marketing required, with deep experience in digital media, OOH and print. Agency experience a plus.
* Well-versed in all aspects of Marketing, with exceptionally strong brand judgment; knowledge and understanding of sports marketing a plus.
* Demonstrated interest and understanding of new mediums and content formats on the digital forefront.
* Proven track record of driving results and thought leadership in a matrixed and multi-stakeholder organization; prior strategic planning experience preferred.
* Thought leader with strong analytical acumen, and ability to derive storytelling through data; comfort with various sets of media, customer and brand data, with ability to summarize in meaningful and actionable ways.
* Ability to prioritize responsibilities in line with strategic objectives.
* Proven comfort with complex media decisions, audience and tactic analysis.
* Solid understanding of the Polo Ralph Lauren brand.
* Strong team player and self-starter, with the ability to communicate and collaborate well among cross-functional teams.
* Excellent organization, communication, interpersonal and project management skills.
* Strong follow through with attention to detail; willingness to be hands-on.
* Exceptional leadership skills; proven ability to mentor and develop a team of direct reports with proactive, enthusiastic drive to results.
* Exemplary written and oral communication and presentation skills, with experience producing content for C-Suite presentations. #LI-AM6
