The Role
  • The Manager of Mobile Marketing will be responsible for helping to develop and execute Bergdorf Goodman's mobile messaging business & strategy, focusing on driving engagement and sales within the app and mobile web to grow. This role will report to the Senior Manager of Email & Mobile Messaging.

Responsibilities
  • Create Bergdorf Goodman's Mobile Marketing strategy and roadmap to drive short and long term engagement and sales
    • Develop strategy to grow installs & opt-ins, leading next steps with cross functional partners (Paid Media, Site, etc)
    • Create segmentation strategy in partnership with CRM team to target key customers with relevant messaging, including top spending customers, new and lapsed
    • Create calendar to support key brand launches, promotions and special store offerings
    • Refine messaging strategy in partnership with creative team, leveraging learnings to optimize engagement
  • Manage and drive short term foundational setup with cross functional partners, including reporting (SDK, platform reporting, custom events to measure campaign performance), setting up new trigger and transactional messages with tech partners as well as images and new tactics (Mobile Wallet) and deeplinking
  • Forecast, analyze and share weekly and monthly performance to goals and learnings with stakeholders
    • Optimize to drive engagement and sales through various tactics including SMS, Mobile Wallet, Push Notifications and In App
    • Consolidate performance recaps monthly and weekly, sharing key insights around what is working and opportunities
    • Drive ongoing testing to drive incremental sales and engagement amongst key customers, finding opportunities to align with Email Marketing messaging
  • Act as Mobile Messaging expert, ensuring best in class practices are implemented and internal partners are educated on the importance and contribution of this channel
  • Own and manage current and new vendor and platform relationships
    • Explore long term tactics to fuel growth, including managing vendor relationships, setting up location-based geo-targeted messaging to grow store traffic and identifying industry best practices and enhancements
  • Manage in-app and push messaging to drive usage and adoption of the app
    • Create campaigns weekly in mobile messaging platform, partnering with team to create calendar, collect creative, landing pages, set up and QA campaigns
    • Manage creative needs, specs and best practices, ensuring messaging aligns with seasonal calendar and promotional support
  • Partner and closely collaborate with product teams ongoing to ensure stability of mobile messaging capabilities, including data platform integrations to target key customers, maintaining customer file health, data integrity


. Who we are looking for
  • 5-7 years experience in house or at an agency with proven record of growing engagement and sales through various tactics (including Inbox Messages, Push Notifications/SMS, Mobile Wallet)
  • Hands on campaign creation expertise with mobile platforms and partners, such as Braze, Twilio, Airship
  • Proven strategic thinking, analytical, data interpretation, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong analytical skills, understanding of tangible KPIs to meet goals as well as familiarity with Adobe and Tableau
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to multitask, ability to manage deadline, and prioritize
  • Strong partnership with cross functional teams including technology, analytics, senior management, merchandising, analytics and creative partners to drive support of optimizations
  • Ability to problem solve technical, process and partnership challenges as needed
  • Passion for customer loyalty, monitoring competition and trends to bring new ideas that will drive LTV, sales and engagement
  • Exceptional proactive project management and organization skills, with a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
