The Financial Planning Analyst is part of the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team reporting to the Senior FP&A Manager and assisting the full team across the missions.

The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team main objectives are to:
  • Give visibility on financial information (Actual and Budget/Forecast) to the leadership team and to operational departments through the P&L / Balance Sheet, specific KPI's, ad hoc analysis to support strategic decisions and action plans.
  • Coordinate Budget and Forecast processes and challenge operational departments to achieve their targets when relevant.
  • Be a key business partner to the other departments, participate to cross-functional projects as financial representative.

Your Mission:
  • Developing and preparing monthly reports ahead of monthly P&L reviews with finance top management, helping to increase visibility on actuals and following actual spends vs budget / forecast.
  • Highlighting any risk & opportunity identified during actual reviews vs objective or following discussions with budget holders.
  • Preparing all support documents for budget holders' monthly meetings with FP&A team
  • Supporting the team during budget / forecast / landing processes
  • Acting as the UK / France / Spain analyst by reporting budget / forecast P&L and BS within BOARD (SMC reporting tool).
  • Becoming our financial tools champion: BOARD, SAP and Esker
  • Participating to ad hoc analysis
  • Identify and drive process' improvements as well as cost savings' projects

Systems and Essentials
  • Advanced level on Microsoft Office pack especially on Excel
  • Any multi-dimensional systems, SAP user a plus
  • Graduate or Part-qualified CIMA, ACCA or equivalent
  • English mandatory, Italian / French a plus
