About the Role

This role will lead and develop a team to drive competitive advantage and cost savings for our brand. They are responsible for overseeing the negotiation process with the vendor(s) and the placement of programs on behalf of the brand. The individual will develop strong, effective internal and external business partner relationships at the senior leader levels that lead to on-going strategic partnerships.

What You'll Do

  • Lead seasonal global vendor allocation and manage overall capacity planning across geographies
  • Build appropriate mill base to support sourcing strategy
  • Partner with each brand to develop supply base to achieve co-creation targets. Build responsive supply chain to support on demand customer needs
  • Partner with the brand to align on AUC targets. Have comprehensive understanding of macro environment while working through Strategy counterparts to drive the best AUC that will drive competitive advantage and cost savings
  • Meet brand expectations on product, quality, speed, innovation and cost
  • Manage seasonal capacity plan against secured vendor capacity and monitor loading
  • Accountable for ensuring vendors utilize sustainable practices
  • Build organizational capability: Development of talent in line with strategy (org designesource planning, key roles filled with hi-performing talent, ensure succession plans are in place, development of bench through hiring/development)
  • Identify organizational gaps and partner with HR and Strategy teams to develop development solutions as appropriate
  • Ensure Brand culture understood and expected behavior is demonstrated consistently across multiple locations
  • Provide Product Creation teams with category insights to align brand needs with category strategies
  • Responsible for day to day people management for Asia-based team members and drive to build team's capability.

  • Product Development - Significant experience in driving global product development and understands design, merchandising, and global sourcing landscape
  • Global Sourcing - Sourcing expertise across countries
  • Cross Category/Brand leadership - of a sizeable project or initiative
  • Problem Solver - has proactively solved problems and effectively managed multiple challenges
  • Global Business Acumen - experience executing on multi-year operational goals, incorporating knowledge of production trade regulations, testing protocol, product integrity, production cycle timeline, fabric and garment construction
  • Leadership Capability - has successfully led large cross-category, cross-functional, global teams (direct and dotted line reporting relationships)
  • Collaboration - Proven ability to influence and make decisions cross-functionally in a matrix environment where speed and cultural sensitivity are crucial
  • Personal Leadership - demonstrated executive presence, excellence in presentation and promoting influencing, and collaboration across a leadership team
  • Change Leadership - experience leading with and without authority to influence others and drive decision-making
  • Talent Builder - proven track record of assessing, attracting and developing best-in-industry teams
  • Business Performance Improvement - proven track record of successful improvement implementation based on fact-based analysis or benchmarking
