PRIVATE CLIENT

We're dedicated to amazing our special clients through our luxury personalised service. We're a team with functions covering Personal Styling/Shopping, Marketing, Client Development, Client Service and Operations. We understand the world of luxury fashion and lifestyle and we're unique in our approach to building long-lasting relationships with our clients, helping them to discover magical experiences through FARFETCH.

THE ROLE

You'll be responsible for growing the FARFETCH Private Client business and elevating the client experience for our most valuable clients through acquiring new VIP prospects, developing sales from retaining existing top clients to establishing new partnerships and creating bespoke events in collaboration with management and marketing colleagues.

The focus will be on working with a portfolio of some of the top clients within the company all while attempting to engage new potential Private Clients and acting as an ambassador of the FARFETCH Private Client program in the ME.

The ideal profile is someone with strong networking and client development skills, solid business acumen, a deep knowledge of fashion and the FARFETCH brand, and a strong ambition to achieve targets. The candidate must have considerable experience working with high profile clients, be capable of developing strategies to enable the achievement of annual

sales targets, and a track record of excellent teamwork and client service skills. Ideally, the candidate would have past exposure to the world of luxury personal shopping or VIP sales.

WHAT YOU'LL DO :

    • You will collaborate across functions with Regional Private Client and Global Client Development management to design and execute a client development strategy aligned to the overall Private Client and Farfetch vision, with the overall aim to acquire & retain ultra-high net worth clients within the Middle East region.
    • You will collaborate with the Private Client Stylists to strengthen their skills to create and drive client retention and migration through consistent coaching and mentorship.
    • You will identify core clients through data driven results across the ME and work with the team to increase engagement and sales.
    • You will lead and execute local strategy, with guidance from Global Client Development team, to strengthen client relationships and expand personalised service based on specific business needs.
    • You will use data to profile key top tier clients, potential new clients, and their networks for quality new client acquisition, converting them into loyal clients.
    • You will devise branded initiatives to encourage client introductions.
    • You will ensure the Stylists have a client-centric approach, act as a FARFETCH Ambassador, and maintain brand consistency and guidelines.
    • You will act as a local expert and point of contact for sharing perspective across cross-functional teams, providing data driven client feedback to stakeholders locally and globally.
    • You will collaborate and work closely with the Global Client Development team.
    • You will support assigned events and travel within allotted budgets, align and report on performance initiatives.
    • You will anticipate new and upcoming trends to support ideation for client acquisition.


WHO YOU ARE:

    • Strategic mindset with a deep understanding of the nuances of the Middle Eastern client and extensive experience in a luxury retail and/or service-related industry and understanding of luxury culture.
    • You have a proven ability to engage and build client relationships (clienteling) and have an awareness of international and local customs.
    • You'll be commercially aware and able to understand and interpret analytics into recommendations and drive ROI.
    • You'll have a CRM background to make data driven decisions with proven results.
    • You'll have an entrepreneurial mindset and ability to think outside the box
    • You'll have excellent written and verbal communication.
    • You'll be an excellent team player but also able to work independently.
    • You'll be comfortable with ambiguity, adopting a flexible approach.
    • You'll have the ability to handle multiple tasks to meet tight deadlines.
    • You'll be proactive and action oriented.
    • Able and willing to travel when necessary.
    • Proficiency in Arabic Language advantageous (written and verbal).
