Position Overview
The Sr Analyst AP, Strategy & Analytics is responsible for working with Asset Protection and Facilities leadership team to analyze company data, performance metrics, and department activities. This person will lead and assist in programs such as New Store Openings, Asset Protection Corporate Capital Projects, Housekeeping, Waste Management and Retail Rug Program.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
New Store Openings · Analyzes the technological needs of the Asset Protection (AP) department and proposes upgrades and / or new opportunities to improve efficiency / effectiveness of the department and in-store AP standards globally · Coordinates and supports all new store opening functions for AP to include installation and maintenance at all retail locations · Works in concert with Polo Ralph Lauren Store Development team in new store, renovation and R&M processes · Monitors and manages vendor / supplier performance and recommends changes as needed to optimize business potential · Leverages technology and develop systematic processes with internal and external resources to improve all AP functions and operations · Manages the approved Capital Projects for Global Corporate Security · Responsible for maintenance of all records, systems details, upgrades and data housed in the asset tracking system · Reviews and communicates concisely all findings with AP and Facilities leadership team · Initiates appropriate strategy to align AP activities with company goals · Ensure proper preparation, maintenance and retention of all reports, files and records in accordance with company guidelines and local jurisdiction · Completes all special projects as assigned · Develops and maintains positive working relationships with business partners · Maintains a flexible work schedule to accommodate travel Housekeeping · Manage the housekeeping program for Retail North America. · Respond and address all housekeeping issues & no shows. · Arrange pre-opening store cleaning service, partner with the appropriate Operations team to create schedule of services within budget. · Partner with Operations to arrange final cleaning on all store closings. · Handle daily Service Channel requests for additional & special event services. · Obtain quotes for work requests outside of scope of work and obtain approval from Operations. · Review monthly invoices to ensure they are within budget for each location. · Investigate and resolve any invoice discrepancies. Waste Management · Respond to all Service Channel requests for additional pick-ups and missed services for all Divisions. · Partner with Operations on store openings and closings - ensure services are set up properly and discontinued on the correct date. · Investigate and resolve any violations. Carpet Program · Manage rug program for the RL portfolio. · Maintain warehouse inventory of coir & coco mat. · Partner with logistics and our India vendor for monitoring shipments from source to delivery. · Work with internal partners on a global level (RLSD, Creative, Operations, Store Managers) with rug orders. Provide constant communication and updates to all parties involved. · Manage Abaca rug orders with vendor in Philippines to fulfill orders, work with logistics team to deliver product on time. · Partner with Customs & Compliance to ensure all documents are updated correctly to avoid delays. · Provide monthly reporting to finance for re-allocation purposes and inventory information. · Manage PO's and invoice payments. · Provide monthly update on cost savings.

Experience, Skills & Knowledge
* Minimum three years relevant experience in Asset Protection, analysis, statistical model design, problem solving and data mining Education:
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience Qualifications:
* Strong analytical, statistical and/or problem-solving experience with proven ability to process large datasets into meaningful information.
* Proven proficiency in Excel, Access and PowerPoint or similar presentation software
* Excellent business writing and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with business partners and all levels of management
* Capacity to balance multiple responsibilities, attention to detail and ability to adapt to changing priorities
* Knowledge of retail operations, inventory control or asset protection function preferred
* Ability to work within a team environment, as well as independently
* Good time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills
