Analyst, Global Procurement Operations

Primary Purpose:

The primary purpose of this position is to assist the manager of Procurement Operations in delivering best in class processes, technology and support for non-merchandise procurement at Tapestry.

The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in Procurement, Customer Support and Issue Resolution to:

- Perform in the role of Buying & Invoicing and Supplier Management Analyst:
- Drive global Buying & Invoicing projects
- Lead Supplier Management projects to enhance supplier setup processes within Ariba SLP
- Launch Supplier Enablement initiatives across all regions to electronically enable suppliers in the Ariba Network
- Work cross-functionally between multiple teams within Tapestry to enhance Buying & Invoicing and Supplier Management processes
- Assist support team in troubleshooting and resolving complex system issues
- Educate and empower end users via Key User program and other training avenues
- Own global catalog usage to drive tail spend management & savings
- Assist with supplier setups to smooth the process for requestors and suppliers
- Mentor support team in North America
- Additional tasks as needed

The accomplished individual will possess...
- B.S. / B.A. degree in Business or Technology (or other related degree programs)
- 1-2 years of experience with Procurement technologies and related ERP integration preferred
- Preferred to have understanding of leading P2P technology practices and trends; General experience of system administration
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience
- Customer support mentality and experience, whether internally- or externally-facing, including an ability to prevent escalations
- Experience with global collaboration and good teamwork skills to work with other Company departments to plan and execute enhancements to the above technologies
- Strong facilitation skills to communicate and educate stakeholders across the Company
- Strong demonstrated analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Experience with process, quality control, and workflow management preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power Point, and Word
