About the Role

Seeking an energetic wordsmith with defined storytelling muscles, a limber vocabulary, and a heart for working at a mission-driven company. We work (and play) in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and we're looking for a talented and passionate writer to join our team. Experience working on social media and community-driven efforts as well as storytelling product would be an asset.

And you? You're highly motivated and organized with an eye for detail and a knack for cross-functional collaboration. You believe that brands should have personalities and those personalities should feel fun, inspirational, and approachable. You think strategically about every project, look at content from all angles, and don't sweat driving a project.

Ideally, your talent is exceeded only by your passion. And your passions include female empowerment, holistic well-being, environmental responsibility, and epic adventure. You can drive creative concepts and editorial POV across multiple channels. You have experience writing both editorial and advertising copy, targeting women and girls. You're a naming wiz and a master of content collection with ace interviewing skills.

What You'll Do

You'll ...
  • Concept and write editorial content across for both Women and Girl
  • Concept and write video, audio, and in-store marketing
  • Work cross-functionally to help develop seasonal messaging
  • Contribute to seasonal product naming

You are ...
  • A passionate writer with 6+ years writing experience in advertising, marketing, journalism, or related field
  • The bearer of a BA in English, journalism, communications and/or an amazing portfolio showcasing deep print, broadcast, and long format editorial experience-your writing skills are more important than how you got them
  • An adroit storyteller who can be persuasive in as few as 20 words or as many as 200
  • An accomplished plate spinner who can prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • An inspiring mentor
  • A collaborator who knows a good idea when you see it, even if it's not yours
  • A whole person with a full life outside of work
  • A believer in the power of the well-written, bespoke cover letter

You have ...
  • Minimum educational level: BA preferred
  • Ability to execute a broad creative copy vision and write in an editorial voice
  • Good interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate clearly and concisely
  • Mastery of the English language
  • Excellent creative writing skills
  • 3+ years copywriting or editorial experience
  • Knowledge of marketing materials and processes

  • Be accountable, delivering copy on time and with consistently high quality
  • Be able to work quickly and efficiently, able to manage own workload across multiple projects and deadlines
  • Be curious, learning consumer insights to provide copy aligned to brand and vehicle-specific strategies
  • Play well with others, collaborating with cross-functional partners to execute projects

Reports to Editorial Director. Partners cross-functionally with creative peers, vehicle owners, and brand marketing partners.
