Zalando Lounge is looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead our most complex international logistics infrastructure projects that enable the expansion of our European logistics network.   • Manage complex international logistics construction projects from initiation to closing on behalf of the project sponsor by applying advanced project management tools and techniques
  • Work closely with senior management and cross-functional teams across all business units (Warehouse Operations, Logistics Development, Real Estate, Architecture & Construction, Legal, Indirect Procurement, Finance, Facility Management and other departments)
  • Establish and independently manage work packages, reporting structures, resource planning and stakeholders. At the same time identify improvement opportunities and implement best-practices to maximize reliability and efficiency of our processes
  • Build your own trustful stakeholder network and provide support and leadership to team members and your peers

  • University degree in technical logistics, economics, engineering or similar
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience in sectors such as (intra)logistics, construction, industry, project management or consulting, managing large projects with a logistics focus.
  • Proven efficient working methods (e.g. through PRINCE2 certification or similar), combined with a highly analytical and solution-oriented mindset to set up complex Greenfield projects.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken) are required, any other additional language skills would be a plus.
  • Willingness to travel within Europe (around 20-30% of your working time, depending on the project phase).
