POSITION SUMMARY:

Leads and influences Supply Leadership in strategy formulation and execution through thought-leadership, project management, process creation, and leveraging collective knowledge & skills to unlock value for the business and end consumer. Establishes and composes long-term strategic plans, analyses, and recommendations related to sourcing shifts, country of origin opportunities, and KPI enhancements. Creates strategies to influence and drive key objectives and initiatives in support of long-term strategic vision, operationalize new ways of working, and identify white space opportunities. Oversees direct report(s) and supporting team members in the strategy execution to ensure maximum efficiency, while driving optimum creative solutions for internal and external partners.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:
  • Create robust, long-term strategies with Senior Leadership that align with Supply and Business goals.
  • Define strategies and craft go-forward plans that challenge the way current operating models think and function in order to meet needs of the business and future.
  • Composes and drives strategic initiatives, as well as oversees progress, metrics, key performance indicators, and ROI against goals.
  • Oversees, develops, and communicates progress updates against strategic initiatives to Senior Leadership levels and functional areas to gain buy-in and support, or to influence action.
  • Formulates ideas and defines strategic recommendations to Senior Leadership including ROI analysis, resourcing needs, and future impact to the business.
  • Drives supply chain strategies with cross-functional Leadership, as well as external L1 vendor and L2 supplier (supply chain partners) to influence and ensure synergy in strategic efforts.
  • Creates strategic storytelling: effectively communicate complex ideas, data points, and strategies to diverse audiences in a compelling, simple way that influences and inspires action.
  • Construct strategic initiative dashboards and presentations to share with Senior Leadership that shows progress, escalates risks, and influences decisions.
  • Connects the dots across multiple strategies and time horizons, and maintain a holistic understanding of the business across all functions & geographies to maintain or evolve long-term strategies.
  • Stays well-informed, maintains, and grows knowledge of macro environment and associated business impact, quantify risk, and opportunities to inform future strategic decisions.
  • Serves as strategy leader, influencer, and thought leader to Supply Senior Leadership and teams.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Experience:
  • 6+ years' experience in supply chain strategy, project management, or consulting preferable
  • Demonstrated leadership managing and/or influencing people
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree preferably in business
  • MBA or Master's degree a plus
  • Project Management Professional certification a plus
  • LEAN and/or Six Sigma certification a plus

Skills:
  • Must have strong strategy creation, strategy defining, and strategic planning skills.
  • Must have strong critical thinking and influencing skills.
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to present to cross functional stakeholders across the organization.
  • Ability to lead, inspire, and oversee cross functional teams.
  • Strong organizational and facilitation skills.
  • Strong data and analytics skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and drive multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Fluent with Microsoft Office products: Excel, Power point, Project, Word.
  • Ability to maintain poise and a positive attitude in a challenging, fast-paced rapidly changing environment.
  • Self-motivated with excellent written, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong people skills that can bring / unite teams together around varying business solutions.
