  • Execute raw material work in the Region. Make certain that the materials used by PVH can achieve delivery as the approved standard and with the required level of performance. Follow up on the seasonal developments

  • Work with US / EU / Asia team for seasonal raw material sourcing and development
  • Handle raw materials quality approval which including risk assessment, appropriate mold trial if needed, test report reviews to collaborate with suppliers to set up final specification
  • Liaise with suppliers to resolve technical issues by provide technical advises and give direction for problem shooting
  • Daily maintain and update internal system for the approval record
  • Evaluate all new mills for their ability to meet the business needs in quality of product, capacity, and cost. Visit and update existing mills for improvements and enhancements to their operation
  • On-board potential and new suppliers to help them understand company standards and requirements, procedures, time calendar to make sure suppliers are able to meet our expectations throughout development stage to production.
  • Maintain a technical education of the latest techniques and methods available to textiles industry. Provide technical training and support on issues of fabric and color development and performance to the supplier base
  • Timely follow up, review and commentary on all Fabric submissions to the regional/hub office. Escalating any RM concern if it's not the right fabric and not at right time .
  • Establish/Record materials sourced in the hub/region area and guide them on achieving the right development .
  • Examine and advise comments on any development or SMS issue . Understand that timely response to Vendor and to mill is critical in maintaining delivery.
  • Guide / Learn the PVH manual and if needed , explain to mills/vendors .
  • Provide support to PVH offshore offices, when necessary, when they have questions on any fabrics in the region/hub area of responsibility.


Education & Experience
  • Degree in Textile or related subject preferable. 5 years or above industry experience

  • Knowledge of knits, woven, denim, yarn, dyeing and finishing.
  • Experiences in handling raw material approval process .
  • Must possess strong communication skills.
  • Basic textile knowledge is required.
  • Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
  • Positive and able to work in a team environment
  • Good communication skills in a teamwork environment.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills (English)
  • Good in MS Office - Word, Excel, Powerpoint
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience in PLM system
