About THE ROLE

PVH Central Planning & Buying is responsible for the selection, range building and product strategy for the UK+ business. In a constantly changing retail environment, we look to build the best assortment for each of our retail, wholesale and concession partners based upon customer profile, sales targets and regional retail landscape.

Working closely with all key retail stakeholders (merchandising, wholesale, retail operations, visual merchandising and store teams) collaboration, strong communication and a passion for opportunity and success are the foundations for this team!

The Data Analyst plays a key role in delivering a wide range of reporting solutions and supports in driving implementable strategies.

They will support in interpreting data into both micro and macro views, which support wholesale, retail, buying and planning for future range planning and in season trading.

Responsibilities include:
  • Project and process management in the field of electronic data exchange (EDI)
  • Analysing and understanding EDI data to enable PVH to operate more efficiently and proactively
  • Provide weekly insights on how the business is performing.
  • Gather centralised data and provide insights for all business divisions on a regular basis
  • Ensure consistent and focused reporting to support the following:
  • Future range planning decisions and volumes
  • Divisional feedback and range requirements
  • Wholesale trading opportunities
  • Weekly/Monthly/Seasonally reporting to the wider business
  • Strategy presentation creation and data interpretation
  • Assets to support retail and wholesale selling
  • Interpreting data and analysing results using statistical techniques
  • Acquiring data from both internal and external data sources and maintaining accurate databases
  • Offering a creative approach to presentations with end user in mind. Knowing how to balance engagement level with detail requirement
  • Works closely with central teams to unlock PVH reporting potential
  • Data PIM administration
  • Regularly updates senior team with business wide requirements and roadmaps to success
  • Support in the continuous development and optimisation of the area, as well as participating in diversified IT projects

About YOU
  • You'll have previous experience within a fashion/retail business, or a degree in Business, IT or related field.
  • You'll have advanced Excel skills
  • You'll have SAP experience
  • You'll have excellent written and verbal skills
  • You'll have strong problem solving skills
  • You'll be a commercially astute and a confident decision maker, communicating with impact across all levels
  • You'll work well with change, being able to adapt quickly and work with pace
  • You'll have the ability to translate date into business requirements
  • You'll have excellent attention to detail
