The Manager, Digital Merchandising owns the merchandising strategy for multiple categories of business, and is responsible for driving the decisions that will bring the assortment strategy to life across all digital / e-commerce touchpoints. They are responsible for achieving topside sales plans, conversion goals, usability performance targets and corporate objectives for their areas of responsibility. Their objectives will be met by creating customer driven content and product story-telling in a way that ultimately drives conversion, UPT and AOV. This position will continue to be accountable for the day-to-day site management of their categories, along with additional responsibilities within the immediate and cross-functional team.

In these additional areas of scope, the Manager, Digital Merchandising will take on decision-making responsibilities as it relates to the Tommy.com Power Plan, co-leading an acceleration workstream amongst a cross-functional team. They will also partner with the Director, Digital Merchandising, to drive the enhancement of strategic planning within the function, and spearhead the evolution of new merchandising tools and e-commerce platform tools. The Manager, Digital Merchandising will also have ownership of omnichannel and marketing programs related to their areas of responsibility.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for driving the product experience across key consumer touchpoints both on-site and in email
  • Own the site merchandising strategies and content strategies that support the product buy and drive sales / conversion
  • Owns the decisions in the product story-telling and plans/develops content initiatives in support of the Brand message
  • Interpret and react to site KPI's to achieve sales goals
  • Measure and monitor effectiveness, and communicate how the content and product strategy is contributing to business goals

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Fashion Marketing or Business Administration, preferred
  • 5+ years of related industry experience, preferably in retail
  • Able to handle multiple projects with adherence to deadlines
  • Highly organized
  • Able to work independently as well as on group projects
  • Self-motivated and confident with some decision making
  • Have the ability to manage up, down and across with positive results
  • Proficient in Excel and Retail Math. Strong planning, inventory management, and analytical skills. Ecommerce experience preferred
  • Ability to travel, if needed
  • Able to time manage responsibilities and be able to address tasks without direction, as needed
  • Able to handle multiple projects with adherence to deadlines
  • Highly organized and able to work independently as well as on group projects
  • Self-motivated and confident with some decision making; ability to manage up, down and across with positive results
  • Establish collaborative relationships with a range of cross-functional partners to bring the product and assortment strategy to life from a digital perspective
