POSITION SUMMRY

As The Senior Analyst, Consumer Insights you will act as the voice of the consumer by translating consumer insights into actionable strategies to inform product, merchandising, distribution and marketing strategies for PVH brands.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:

  • Lead and independently manage various qualitative, quantitative projects in house, from writing briefs and selecting methodologies to authoring and presenting final reports.
  • Mange the internal development and execution of proprietary surveys including, but not limited to: drafting, programming, QA, sample procurement, fielding, monitoring, data cleaning, analysis and reporting.
  • Manage the internal development of qualitative projects including discussion guide development, moderation, analysis and synthesis of key insights, and storytelling.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external vendors and effectively collaborate with them in order to successfully complete and deliver insights projects.
  • Develop strong relationships with cross-functional partners in strategy, marketing, product development, merchandising and retail to help advocate for consumer-centric decision-making.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and the European Consumer Insights team to oversee execution and reporting of the PVH global brand health tracking programs.
  • Proactively identify and evaluate new resources and vendors that support more nimble consumer insights capabilities.
  • Manage the development of our new Qualtrics voice of the customer initiative
  • Train and mentor Consumer Insight analysts and oversee their involvement in research projects.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

EXPERIENCE
  • 3-5 years of experience in consumer research, preferably in the fashion/retail industry. Previous work experience at a research vendor or consulting firm a plus.
  • Software familiarity
    • Experience with Qualtrics, survey programming tools such as Alchemer, Alida, data analysis and visualization tools such as MarketSight
    • MS Excel and PowerPoint

EDUCATION

University degree, preferably in Business, Economics, Statistics, Marketing or related field

SKILLS
  • Deep understanding of diverse research methodologies and how they can be applied to answer business questions and uncover actionable insights
  • Strong interest- in psychology, sociology, behavioral economics and fashion/retail
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
  • Excellent project management skills, able to manage and own multiple work streams with confidence and strong attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to identify 'the story' from the data and communicate that story in a way that drives business strategy forward
  • Self-motivated and resourceful, positive and solution-oriented
  • Team player; ability to work effectively with different stakeholders and team members in a proactive manner
  • Strong sense of curiosity, comfortable with expressing your point of view
