The Team

The Ecommerce (Ecom) Team is responsible for managing the European own and operated tommy.com and calvinklein.com sites across all European markets. The team operates all necessary functions to manage the Ecom business end-to-end. Both brands are growing at a rapid pace and have ambitious growth targets for the coming years. The team is 150+ people strong and will continue to grow significantly. Our team consists of highly motivated and skilled professionals from various cultural backgrounds and nationalities, making it an inspiring environment to work in.

As the own and operated Ecom business is one of the main growth opportunities for both brands, there is a high focus in the organization to support the Ecom expansion. We are currently looking for a Director of Analytics to help us achieve our objectives.

The Position

As Ecom Director of Analytics you will lead a team of product and consumer analysts, responsible for delivering high quality analytics services to stakeholders, enabling them to make fact-based decisions.

Based on multiple data sources, you manage the generation of insights that help E-commerce teams to better understand the consumer and our product performance, expand reach, increase customer engagement and advocacy and ultimately drive sales.

You will be a subject matter expert and trusted advisor to customer and trading teams and contribute to the strategic agenda, solving complex questions and challenges, and driving the analytics roadmap (incl reporting and dashboarding structure refinement and growth, self service tools development, webdata quality and future mesurement)

You will have a clear mandate to build and develop the team of data analysts. You will hire them and coach them to deliver the most possible value to our users and our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Expand and coach junior team members to establish a strong pole of analytics competency with strong technical and business knowledge
  • Become a trusted partner to consumer and product function leads to help them make data driven decisions
  • Provide high quality analysis across the business and across subjects. Build up self service capacity through clear reporting/dashboarding structure and continuous learning on web analytics tools
  • Be a key stakeholder in setting up future measurement capacity, tackeling data collection challenges
  • Drive the analytics roadmap for the Ecom business to support the data driven decision making culture of the department

The Ideal Candidate
  • 8+ years of experience in Digital Analytics
  • Extensive experience with analytics tools (GA, Adobe analytics, Amplitude) and disciplines, working with different data warehouse and cloud environments
  • Strong experience with analytics technologies like SQL/BigQuery, Python/R and visualization tools like Tableau
  • Strong people management and stakeholder management skills
  • A passion for delivering data-based recommendations for quantifiable improvements in business results and consumer satisfaction.
  • Very good communication skills, comfortable presenting complex topics to stakeholders at various organization levels both in person and remote
  • Good project management skills, including the ability to lead projects or work on several projects simultaneously
  • Fluency in English language both verbally and written
