The Position / Team

As an incubated team and member of the Supply Value Chain Transformation team, the Director of Traceability, will manage the process of rolling out the Traceability landscape within the Supply Value Chain from initial project scope to Implementation. Their impact lies with strategizing and creating buy in amongst both internal and external stakeholders to ensure a 360 view of traceability requirements. They strategically drive the right stakeholder group in preparation of the traceability implementation while maintaining a clear focus on future state requirements. The director of traceability will work in close collaboration with internal teams such as Global Traceability/ Sustainable Business & Innovation (SB&I)/ Product Development / Legal / Finance / Supply Chain Process Development/ Corporate Responsibility. As the traceability, landscape evolves the position and team will be shifted to the end-state position in Supply Value Chain.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain overarching view on traceability initiatives company wide
  • Ensure Supply Value Chain (SVC) initiatives and global initiatives are aligned
  • Spider in the web for existing traceability initiatives
  • Define SVC execution plan against defined traceability requirements
  • Key point on contact for SVC on traceability topics
  • Ability to anticipate change and provide a pro-active mitigation plans (ie. Certification)
  • Establish in collaboration with SB&I a best in class E2E traceability strategy
  • Working in close collaboration with the VP of Global Supply Traceability based in NY
  • Playing a key role in translating relevant global/ EU Legislation and Legal requirements for SVC
  • Manage and escalate KPIs and SOP for business and vendors
  • Leverage framework and guidance of SVCT whilst in incubation

The Ideal Candidate:
  • University degree
  • 10 years of experience in traceability
  • Ability to navigate industry (software, externals)
  • Strong supplier and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to translate requirements to business technicalities.
  • Strong project management
  • Ability to lead independently and comfortable to work with all levels within the organization
  • Can do attitude and seeks out challenges.
  • Comfortable in ever changing environment
