Our monumental office in Via Manin is where NGG was born. It is home to the creative, product and production functions of all the NGG brands. Here you will absorb the essence of the NGG DNA and feel the creative input for all cross-category collections.

THE ROLE

New Guards Group is looking for a a Product Sustainability intern to support in all sustainability initiatives across all brands. You will respond to the Senior Product Sustainability Specialist and assist in implementing strategies and initiatives to ensure NGG products are aligned with global best practices, and work towards minimizing environmental impact.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

    • Support in sourcing and working with suppliers in the marketing and launch of sustainable products.
    • Communicate continuously with suppliers and constantly update product sustainability information and reports
    • Support in the reporting of NGG carbon footprint and progress towards NGG and Farfetch targets
    • Support in the review and identification of current or potential environmental risks within production and support in defining strategies for recovery and improvement
    • Support in the development of an operational model to scale up sustainable product development
    • Support in the analysis and reporting of NGG's environmental impact and support in the management of the steps necessary to achieve the objectives


WHO YOU ARE

    • Bachelor's degree required and a Masters or specialization in sustainability is a must
    • Good understanding of sustainability topics, such as certification and substantiation of green claims, sustainable materials and circularity.
    • Passionate in sustainable raw materials sourcing and development for the Luxury sector
    • Good knowledge and use of Adobe Suite (Photoshop Illustrator, InDesign) and Microsoft Office Tools
    • Fluent in English written and spoken this will be tested in the interview process
    • Ability to manage stress and pay close attention to detail
    • Highly organized, flexible with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced everchanging environment
