FIGS is looking for an awesome Junior Product Designer (UI/UX) to join our Ecommerce Design Team. The Junior Product Designer will be responsible for creating web landing pages with concepts and delivering new features to our e-commerce flow. The role will report directly to the Director of UI/UX.
What you'll do:
  • Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes and prototypes that lead to an intuitive user experiences and for a wide range of devices and interfaces
  • Design A/B testing feature variations and deliver through wireframes and high fidelity mockups
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, marketing and visual design to concept, create and develop landing pages
  • Help deliver appropriate assets - including identifying aspect ratios, cropping, compressing, etc
  • Provide pixel-perfect static and interactive mockups for leadership share out; including potential new site features, competitive research ideas, imagery and layout changes, etc
  • Contribute to the design and maintenance of a comprehensive visual framework to establish consistent aesthetics
  • Identify design problems and devise solutions that are thoughtful, seamless and delight our customers
  • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years of experience as an UI/UX Designer, Product Designer, Visual Designer, or a similar role
  • Proficiency in product design software including Figma, Sketch, Zeplin, Adobe XD and other visual design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Principle/After Effects/ProtoPie is a plus)
  • Online portfolio with specific examples of high quality UI/UX and Visual Design work reflecting individual design thinking, teamwork, and impact on customers
  • Excellent visual design skills
  • Proficient understanding of cross-viewport compatibility issues
  • Informed set of core values regarding user experience, technology, and business communication, and the ability to present them eloquently and concisely
  • Possess and exhibit cultural awareness and sensitivity in order to land communications with a diverse global audience
  • Have excellent oral/written communication and multi-tasking
  • Previous Ecommerce experience(fashion/lifestyle) is a plus
  • Knowledge of front-end development web programming languages such as HTML and CSS, JQuery, and JavaScript is a plus
