THE ROLE

AMBUSH is looking for a Communications Specialist to join the Marketing & Communications team. Based in Milan, Italy, you will report to the Marketing Director and support the development of the global PR and Comms strategy. The role will be responsible for delivering and driving global brand awareness and brand communication ensuring optimal visibility for the brand.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

    • Build Communication strategies to deliver the AMBUSH brand message on a global and local scale.
    • Develop a global strategy for Press, Media and VIP/KOL/Influencer Communications.
    • Deliver, implement and execute seasonal Communications strategy for the brand.
    • Deliver, implement and execute unique communication plans for product launches, store openings and new initiatives that captivate and capture both media interest and consumer attention.
    • Develop and secure targeted feature stories, product placement, editorials reports in both traditional and non-traditional, print and digital media targeting both mens and womens titles.
    • Lead and activate the media network, maintaining a diverse network of key contacts.
    • Manage relationships with all external PR, Social, Media agencies and suppliers.
    • Organize and manage press days, fashion presentations, fashion shows and PR events.
    • Manage and oversee all press releases, media alerts, biographies, website inserts, interviews and all brand PR texts, copy and communication.
    • Manage and oversee all Press, Media, VIP and talent requests including samples management, seeding, gifting, trafficking, sample archiving, stock movement management.
    • Collaborate with global internal and external cross functional teams in supporting all
    • Communications plans for the brand.
    • Work closely with the Marketing Director and Communications Director on the PR budget.
    • Any other tasks assigned by the Marketing Director.


WHO YOU ARE

    • 3+ year experience in a similar role preferably in a fashion luxury company or press agency.
    • Bachelor's degree in PR, Marketing, Communications or similar is preferred, a masters is a plus.
    • Established network of key industry players such as press, media, editors, VIPs, influencers etc.
    • Proven experience delivering successful PR campaigns at a local and global level.
    • Excellent, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong interest and understanding for diversity, inclusivity, sustainability, news, tech and innovation
    • Cultural sensitivity and a flexible mindset: at ease with changes, new ways of thinking and working
    • Team player that leads by example, with strong collaborative skills with both internal and external teams, agencies, consultants and stakeholders.
    • In addition to being a team player, the candidate is also autonomous, reactive, proactive, forward-thinking, organized, flexible, adaptable and able to multitask.
    • Thrives in a fast paced environment that requires strong time management skills.
    • Ability to work with various departments, geographies and understand cultural differences.
    • Creative perspective with innovative ideas and a problem solver with a great eye for detail.
    • Fluent in English both written and spoken, Italian or Japanese a plus.
