Senior Accountant General Ledger (Branch Poland) (m/w/d) 100%
HUGO BOSS (Schweiz) AG | Zug | Switzerland | Full-time

We are looking for a new team member to join the Finance Team in Zug as soon as possible.

What you can expect:

• Preparation of the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and Polish GAAP
• Preparation of Polish tax returns (VAT and CIT), TP documentation, calculation of deferred taxes and review of tax conformity of invoices
• Contact person for internal and external departments such as auditors, tax advisors, and others
• Management and implementation of finance and tax projects
• Review and recording of business transactions in the general ledger and subledger accounts in accordance with IFRS and Polish GAAP
• Indirect reporting line of two accountants
• Optimization of financial processes and booking procedures

Your profile:

• Bachelor in economics with majors in finance or an equivalent further education in finance / accounting
• At least five years of professional experience in financial accounting or in a comparable function
• Good knowledge of Polish tax regulation and Polish Accounting Act
• Solid understanding of numbers and business contexts including tax issues
• Fluent communication skills in English and Polish
• Excellent analytical skills, quick thinking, and ability to communicate on all hierarchy levels
• Very good MS Excel-skills and ideally SAP FI experience
• High degree of independence, high motivation, and team player
• Willingness to do regular business trips (mainly to Poland)
