Position Overview
The Manager, Client Development, PFS East is responsible for advancing the adoption of Clienteling tools and behaviors through the ongoing training, development, and support of sales teams and field leaders, primarily in the West Region. This individual is accountable for ensuring that the Clienteling strategy in stores is aligned with the Company's strategy to generate profit, drive traffic, and grow the client relationship as measured by client acquisition, client retention, and client reactivation. The Manager, Client Development, PFS East is responsible for fostering productive, cross-functional relationships with internal partners that help drive adoption, troubleshoot technological hurdles and develop and train retail sales teams and field leaders. In partnership with the Manager of Clienteling, store operations, marketing partners, IT and BI partners, the ADM will help create consistency in store environments with respect to the Clienteling strategy and use of tools, such as Digital Clienteling and More Ways To Shop. Teamwork, leadership, process, relationship management, advanced proficiency with iOS and effective communication, as well as attention to detail, are critical aspects of this position's responsibilities.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

* Develop and train retail teams on Clienteling tools including but not limited to: Concierge, JRNI, iPads, iPhones, Endless Aisle
* Develop and train retail teams on Clienteling metrics including but not limited to: Client Acquisition, Client Retention, Client Reactivation
* Support stores' strategies with client outreach and relationship management ensuring consistency with overall company objectives and strategy
* Compile user feedback and contribute to ongoing improvements in software and process
* Conduct store visits to train and support team and make assessments on the fluency of store teams on key initiatives such as Clienteling, More Ways To Shop, etc
* Foster strong relationships and partnership with Regional Directors and District Directors to drive adoption and behaviors in stores
* Lead on-site trainings for store teams
* Additional responsibilities for this role include report generation and presentation creation. Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint preferred Strategic Focus:
* Support stores with ongoing learning and development, with a primary focus on the West Region
* Develop super-user network across stores to advance adoption and knowhow of outreach strategies, metrics, and tools
* Constantly identify new opportunities to drive business and work with stores and performance partners to convert these opportunities.
* Evolve store culture to ensure that sales teams are able to sell any Ralph Lauren product from anywhere, regardless of customer location
* Identify business opportunities with the support of store leadership and analytic: Customer segment, product category, store or Sales associate

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

• Computer proficiency (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); ability or aptitude to learn technical applications quickly
• 3+ years experience in retail field and stores
• Success in driving client engagement
• Experience in retail field leadership a plus
• Proven results in training employees, exceptional communicator
• Polo Factory Store and Ralph Lauren store experience a plus
• Weekend hours and travel required

* Strong planning and prioritization/time management skills
