JOB PURPOSE
The Events Coordinator is responsible for supporting the team with the coordination and execution of all in-store, wholesale, internal, brand image and brand partnership activations across the Americas region. This role will work with the Burberry Americas and corporate head office in London team to provide daily support to the Events team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Support Sr. Events with all aspects of organization for Burberry events and partnerships
Participate in the developing strategic special events, in partnership with the London headquarters, to increase brand awareness and exposure, drive sales, and client loyalty.
Run event logistics for events, including vendor negotiations and budget maintenance.
Maintain invoice processing & tracking system.
Develop production timelines and contact sheets for events.
Oversee all logistical relationships with preferred event vendors
Manage all aspects of pre/post event planning and execution
Effectively communicate importance and event objective to corporate and retail teams while building excitement for the project
Strong communication on event logistics and internal planning with other departments including Client Engagement, Wholesale, Visual Merchandising, and Retail Operations.
Research and assist with elements for concepts, invitations, venues and décor.
Perform ROI analysis and compile key learnings and results post events
PERSONAL PROFILE
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Keynote, Adobe Illustrator, Fashion GPS
Knowledge of the marketplace and pop culture trends
Appreciation and general understanding of the luxury industry
3-4 years of experience planning and executing events, preferably within Retail, Fashion and/or PR Agency
Ability to work evenings and some weekends
Some travel required; up to 20%
