Senior Project Manager - Finance (Profitability) (w/m/d)

THE ROLE & THE TEAM

As a senior member in the Business Finance organization, you will be working on one of the most complex and challenging improvement topics in the Zalando organization: Order Economics. You will be interacting with senior leaders across all the organization and supporting Zalando’s mindset shift from a big small company, to a small big company. This role is perfect for candidates who have great communication skills and thought leadership in order to drive initiatives that improve our profitability further.
WHERE YOUR EXPERTISE IS NEEDED

• You will be driving cross-company initiatives and interacting with Senior leadership in Finance and across all Zalando Business Units
• As a program lead, you’ll work in driving end-to-end initiatives to elevate Zalando’s Order Economics by kick-starting initiatives through analysis of our main financial KPIs
• You’ll work with experts from different teams and partner with them to keep track of the projects they are working on that have an effect on Zalando’s profitability
• You will be shaping and refining governance cycles to ensure visibility of order economics to senior leadership.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• You have 6+ years of working experience in multi-year working experience within change advisory roles in large-scale corporate transformational projects. Experience in finance related projects and analysis is a plus.
• You have strong analytical as well as excellent conceptual and synthesizing skills, out-of-box-thinking with a holistic and systemic approach to problems.
• Master degree in business administration with a focus on finance, accounting, process management and auditing, or a comparable degree.
• You bear strong communication skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels, and good collaboration with teams.
• Your stakeholder management skills (building trust-based relationships, understanding of stakeholders’ needs, stakeholder communication) are one of your strength suits.
