JOB PURPOSE

AS A SENIOR MANAGER OF RETAIL TRAINING YOU WILL BE A STRATEGIC BUSINESS PARTNER TO MARKET LEADERSHIP AND A BUSINESS COACH TO STORE LEADERSHIP. YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PLANNING, DELIVERY AND EMBEDMENT OF ALL RETAIL TRAINING TO OUR FIELD TEAMS ACROSS MULTIPLE DOORS, ENSURING CONSISTENCY IN SERVICE EXCELLENCE AND BEHAVIOURS DRIVING KPI ACHIEVEMENT

YOU WILL HAVE A PRIMARY FOCUS ON COACHING AND DEVELOPING OUR RETAIL BUSINESS LEADERS FOCUsED ON SALES TEAM TRAINING AND PRODUCTIVITY, THEREFORE DELIVERING A COMPREHENSIVE TRAINING AND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT APPROACH IN YOUR MARKET. This position is based in MIami, Florida

RESPONSIBILITIES

MARKET STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT
• WORKING CLOSELY WITH THE DIRECTOR OF RETAIL TRAINING MARKET LEADERS AND CORPORATE PARTNERS, CREATE QUARTERLY TRAINING AND ACTION PLANS TO ENSURE CONSISTENCY OF LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT AND PERFORMANCE CONDITIONS ARE MET
• PRORITIZES AND DEPLOYS FIELD TRAINER TO THE APPROPRIATE DOORS FOR SALES TEAM PERFORMANCE AND ACHIEVEMENT
• FORWARD THINKING APPROACH TO ANTICIPATE TRAINING NEEDS BASED ON BUSINESS TRENDS IN KEY DOORS AND THROUGHOUT THE MARKET AND DEPLOYING TRAINER ACOORDINGLY

RETAIL LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT AND CONTENT FACILITATION
• IDENTIFIES LEADERSHIP LEARNING / SKILL GAPS AND COACHES TO BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES
• IN PARTNERSHIP WITH MARKET AND STORE PARTNERS, PLAN IMPLEMENTATION OF ALL TRAINING ACTIVITIES IN SUPPORT OF THE GLOBAL AND REGIONAL TRAINING CALENDAR
• FACILITATE TTT AND LARGE FORMAT TRAINING INITIATIVES (I.E ONBOARDING, SUPPLEMENTAL WORKSHOPS) AS NEEDED
• COACH AND TRAIN LEADERSHIP TEAMS THROUGH ON-THE-FLOOR OBSERVATION AND PARTNERSHIP MOMENTS TO MAXIMISE BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES AND DRIVE REVENUE
• FACILITATES ON-THE-JOB LEARNING ON THE SELLING FLOOR THROUGH PARTNERSHIP AND LEADING BY EXAMPLE ON, WORKING WITH STORE LEADERS AND SELLING TEAMS, TYING BEHAVIORS TO IMPACT AND RESULTS

IMPACT:
• LEVERAGES BUSINESS / COMMERCIAL ACUMEN TO REPORT IMPACT OF TRAINING AND SKILL DEVELOPMENT NEEDED FOR BEHAVIOURAL CHANGE, DEPLOYING TRAINER AS REQUIRED / NEEDED
• INCREASED LEADERSHIP CAPACTITY TO DEVELOP THEIR BUSINESS AND LEAD HIGH-PERFORMING TEAMS TO ACHIEVE
• PROVIDES PROGRAMME FEEDBACK AND SOLUTIONS TO CORPORATE TRAINING TEAMS REGULARLY
• EVALUATES THE EFFECTIVENESS OF TRAINING PROGRAMMES, PROVIDE FEEDBACK AND INFLUENCE FUTURE PROGRAMME DESIGN AND DELIVERY AS NEEDED

LEADING, INFLUENCING AND DEVELOPING OTHERS:
• CLEAR AND DIRECT COMMUNICATION TO MARKET PARTNERS, STORE LEADERSHIP AND TRAINER ON PERFORMANCE, BASED ON OBSERVATION AND BUSINESS RESULTS / TRENDS
• PROVIDE OBJECTIVE FEEDBACK, COACHING AND TRAINING STRATEGY/SUPPORT AS NEEDED TO STORE LEADERSHIP ON KPI RESULTS AND SUPPORTING LEADERSHIP AND SALES TEAM BEHAVIOURS
• LIAISE WITH MARKET LEADERSHIP ON TRAINING NEEDS AND EFFECTIVENESS BY STORE; INFLUENCE AS NEEDED TO MEET CORPORATE AND REGIONAL TRAINING DELIVERABLES
• COLLABORATION AND INFLUENCE ACROSS ALL LEVELS OF LEADERSHIP IN MARKET AND REGION, INCLUDING MARKET DIRECTOR AND CORPORATE BUSINESS PARTNERS TO MAXIMISE BUSINESS AND REVENUE

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• 5+ YEARS OF LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE WITH PROVEN ABILITY TO LEAD AND DEVELOP TEAMS, PREFERRABLY IN A LUXURY RETAIL SETTING (MULTI-STORE A PLUS)
• STRONG BUSINESS ACUMEN, ABILITY TO IDENTIFY AND DISSECT BUSINESS TRENDS AND TIE TO CONTROLLABLE ACTIONS
• LOOKS AHEAD AND ANTICPATES FUTURE TRAINING TRENDS AND METHODOLOGIES
• NATURAL AND CONFIDENT ON THE SELLING FLOOR AND INTERACTING WITH LUXURY CLIENTELE
• INTERPERSONAL SKILLS SHOWING THE ABILITY TO COMMUNICATE EFFECTIVELY WITH CROSS-FUNCTIONAL BUSINESS PARTNERS AND SENIOR LEADERSHIP TEAM
