JOB PURPOSE

Digital Merchandising Operations team is responsible for all product imagery for Burberry.com as well as third party partners such as Farfetch, Harrods, Tmall, etc. You will be used to working in a fast-paced environment and be able to respond quickly and calmly to emerging opportunities across a varied range of products and services The role plays a key part in content availability & delivery, implementation of the strategies as well as overseeing and driving the growth of the tools/platforms used to achieve frequent flow of product content across all categories to go live in time of the season launch.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Operational Maintenance
  • Partner with Digital merchandising, samples, copy, studio and retouching teams to manage constant flow of product content
  • Daily updates to content management systems, stock updates, etc.
  • Track expected delivery of content ( images, copy) and stock
  • Coordinate image approvals for .com and 3rd parties on daily basis to maximise content availability
  • Drive commerce by ensuring as much product is correct and available to go live, communicate any delays in deadlines
  • Provide weekly reports on content readiness
  • Working closely with Flo, DAM,PIM and content delivery partners to develop ways of working and processes to continuously improve each season
  • Support Digital Merchandising operations manager on the market prep/congruency exercises
  • Support the team in all imagery related projects


PERSONAL PROFILE

  • Previous experience in Project Management type of role
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Fast paced working environment
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build cross-functional relationships
  • Self-motivated and uses own initiative
  • Experience in improving workflows and team processes to provide efficiencies
  • Strong prioritization, organizational and problem solving abilities
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in a similar or project management type of role desirable
