The Global Compensation Manager develops our compensation philosophy at Stella McCartney and drive s the compensation agenda which enhance s o ur ability to attract, engage, develop and retain our talent. In collaboration with the Global Head of People Projects & Compensation , they will desig n and deliver innovative and competitive global compensation programs .

Your Mission

  • Develop and implement a compensation structure for SMC. Define our compensation grading levels and ensure a consistent and fair global approach
  • Ownership of the SMC grading system ; assess new positions, promotions and salary increases against market and internal benchmarks
  • Review overall compensation package and make recommendations to ensure we remain competitive and aligned to market
  • Develop and maintain the internal job profile catalogue and job family groups within Workday
  • Educate the regional People & Culture teams on job profiles, how to use the information and support the localised development of talent and competency frameworks


  • Lead on benchmarking and salary surveys; work s with LVMH group to assess current pay levels with the market to empower the recruitment and salary review process
  • Support with the design of our new annual performance evaluation process using digital solutions, continually evolving the process and methods for performance evaluation, partnering retail team and Learning & Development needs
  • Manage the global annual salary process, leading conversations with regional People & Culture teams, providing compensation insights and reviewing proposals while considering overall review pool and approach
  • Compensation analysis and reporting, including identifying trends and gaps and building out a global consolidation.


Your Talent

  • You will have demonstrable e xperience of developing a compensation strategy, as well as salary reviews and benchmarking
  • You will be technical ly savvy, ideally with experience of Workday


  • Ideally, you will have e xperience of operating in a People / HR function as a specialist in a centres of excellence model
  • You have e xperience of coordinating reward processes on an international scale.
  • You will be v ersatile , and enjoy flexing from working independently and collaboratively with the wider People & Culture team
  • You have the a bility to think strategically but also focus on tactical and operational issues
