Become a part of the voice, the look, and the feel of Reference Studios. We are looking for a highly motivated Showroom Manager to join our team in Berlin. With a strong sense for interpersonal relations, high level of organization as well as client and partner liaising skills, you will take care of the daily business in the showroom and support our PR team.

You should be passionate about fashion, art and contemporary culture and bring a solid knowledge in these fields. It´s a plus, if you already have an existing network of relevant stylists, talents and editors in Berlin and/or worldwide. We are looking for someone, who can identify with our brands, contents and values – to be able to act as an ambassador for Reference Studios at all times.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Maintain and organize the Showroom on a daily basis (display of collections, flower arrangements, supply management etc.)
• Initiate, coordinate and execute showroom appointments
• Build relationships and keep in touch with stylists on an international level 
• Keep an overview of the showroom stock - collections and other supplies
• Assist PR Team with editorial sample requests 
• Oversee sample loans - send outs, tracking packages, ensuring safe returns  
• Arrange and coordinate VIP fittings 
• Organize bi-annual Reference Studios Press Days together with the PR Team
• Prepare and send out Showroom newsletters 
• Continuous alignment with the PR Team about positioning of the brands in digital and/or print titles 
• Support PR Team with monthly client reports (samples pulls & showroom visits) 

Qualifications:

• At least 1-2 years of previous showroom experience or comparable experience as store manager, office manager or sales in the fashion sector
• Passion for the creative fields (primarily fashion, but also arts, music and culture) 
• Well established network of stylists, editors and potentially talents 
• Understanding of appealing visual displays of collections
• High level of organization and a good eye for details 
• Structured and hands-on work approach 
• Open-minded and sociable personality  
• Joy in social interactions 
• Basic knowledge of spreadsheets (Google Sheets, Excel, etc.) and presentation tools (Google Slides, PowerPoint, etc.) 
• Very good knowledge of English 
• Good knowledge of German preferred, but not required
