We are looking for a Learning & Development Manager to join the People team. In this role, you will work directly with the VP, Talent to execute the FIGS learning & development strategy and roadmap. You will design and facilitate learning and development programs, manage external vendor relationships and define the L&D measurement strategy. The right person for this role has demonstrable experience in crafting and facilitating training programs for team members and leaders in a fast-growing and geographically diverse organization. What you'll do
  • Maintain a high level of understanding of FIGS business strategy and team member development needs; support these strategies by developing comprehensive learning and development plans that align with needs and the L&D strategy.
  • Conduct needs analysis, identify gaps, and provide appropriate recommendations for learning & development solutions.
  • Facilitate learning programs for multiple audiences, such as team members, teams, and leaders.
  • Apply learning models to develop programs, benchmark best practices/trends, and maintain knowledge of approaches to provide learning solutions that create lasting impact and promote in creating the culture of a learning organization.
  • Identify best in class external learning partners and maintain superb partner relationships.
  • Work with HR Partners and other partners that help you to build and implement custom learning solutions.
  • Develop the metrics and the means to assess and track the effectiveness of learning programs.

  • 5 + years of experience facilitating and developing in person and virtual Learning programs.
  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, I/O Psychology, Consulting, Training and Curriculum Development, Communications, or related field required.
  • Experience consulting on learning and development (contracting, needs analysis, and action planning) and adjusting approach to meet the needs of learners.
  • Excellent influence, communication, project management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working with business leaders and experts to build innovative learning solutions.
  • Experience with Google Suite, especially Google Slides.
