The PVH HR team are a group of focused, forward thinking and commercial individuals all passionate about offering an outstanding colleague experience.

Working at pace, the team operate autonomously and have the creative license to really deliver solutions that enable their stakeholders across the business.

The ER Manager is responsible for the providing expert advice and support to the UK Retail business in the handling of all employee relations matters.

Responsibilities include:
  • Provide a consultancy service to stakeholders across all levels and provide professional support for high risk / complex issues.
  • Brief and coach stakeholders on best practice in relation to all people management issues.
  • Support the business in resolving matters of conflict at the earliest opportunity and provide an independent mediation role where appropriate
  • Escalate concerns or potential business risks where advice has not been acted upon appropriately.
  • Monitor and analyse data including turnover rates, absence, equal opportunities information, health and safety and trends, reporting to the HR Director with recommendations for future action.
  • Monitor both short and long-term sickness, advising line managers and ensuring that colleagues are managed in accordance with policy, to enable return to work at the earliest opportunity and that, where necessary, rehabilitation programmes are in place, liaising with 3rd party external health providers.
  • Manage local introduction of new or revised policy and process issues including delivery of local workshops, ensuring that line managers are appropriately equipped with on-going support in introducing and managing such changes.
  • Ensure offers of employment and associated contract documentation are within HR policy, including appropriate employment checks.
  • Provide policy advice and guidance to all colleagues requiring assistance and encouraging the use of the employers assistance programme where relevant.
  • Locally manage areas of legal challenge such as employment tribunal applications or personal liability claims - in liaison with both internal and external parties including solicitors
  • Meet regularly with senior management to discuss people issues and performance within designated departments.

  • You'll have previous experience of front line professional ER experience in a similar organisation.
  • You'll have thorough knowledge and practical application of employment legislation.
  • You'll have strong influencing and advisory skills.
  • You'll have the ability to maintain confidentiality and display discretion at all times.
  • You will be customer focused, demonstrating a passion to deliver a quality service on time, every time.
  • You'll have excellent organisation and time-management skills demonstrating the ability to multitask and prioritise own workload.
  • You'll have strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build relationships with ease.
