The Neiman Marcus Product Management Team is looking for a skilled Product Manager who is passionate about advocating for the customer, has excellent product instincts, a passion for creating great experiences, a data-centric mindset, agile thinking, and the willingness to challenge the status quo.

The Product Manager will lead and support the selection and implementation of Decisioning Engine and its integration with various systems to enable consistent personalized recommendations to be served on various channels to customers. In this role, the Product Manager will also be responsible for identifying solutions to create a robust content library-with all assets stored in one location, tagged, searchable, retrievable, trackable, and organized to be used by the personalization platform to deliver highly relevant, engaging content experiences. This position will collaborate closely with key business stakeholders and engineers to understand current state of our content creation process and determine the future state and changes needed to enable the personalization platform to retrieve the most relevant content. The Product Manager will establish business and technical requirements & stories ensuring delivery of new features and functionality, as well as optimizations.

In this role, the Product Manager will become the subject matter expert on Decisioning Engine and Content aggregation and will provide updates on key milestones and champion change management tactics, in the effort to deliver the next best action, next best offer, and the next best product to our customers, via Omni-channel strategies, with relevance, and at the right time. The Product Manager will partner closely with business stakeholders to identify and execute a roadmap that will deliver incremental business value and drive customer lifetime value.


  • Lead & manage a product team alongside the Scrum Master and Delivery/Dev Team by setting the priority and communicating a clear vision, including attending daily standups, grooming & refinement sessions, sprint planning and retrospectives.
  • Partners with senior leaders on program level strategy development and execution
  • Contributes to successful continuous delivery of product roadmaps, within budget and schedule, by identifying risks and developing & recommending mitigation strategies
  • Reviews tactical implications to products or business areas ensuring long-term goals and an enterprise view are represented in requirements
  • Helps gather metrics and ad hoc reporting to monitor business KPI's and to measure the effectiveness of product enhancements
  • Troubleshoots and researches issues related to changing trends, behaviors, or performance to identify what is impacting the business and determine how to address
  • Develops strategy & execution plan across touchpoints to create differentiated personalized experiences
  • Builds strong working relationships between product, technology and business stakeholders to help facilitate awareness and support of strategies and initiatives
  • Supports and provides direction to the associate product managers in pursuit and execution of roadmaps and shared objectives
  • Educates and evangelizes best practices throughout organization to build awareness for impact to business and ensure alignment for cross-team initiatives
  • Maintains market awareness of industry trends and competitive landscape to help identify necessary updates and new opportunities
  • Manages vendor partners to help solve customer and business problems and collaborate to drive for new innovations in products and services that best meet business needs and strategy
  • Helps collect acceptance criteria, requirements, and can write user stories for new features.


  • Experience in eCommerce and Omni-Channel delivery, prior experience with Decision engine or Personalization platform and / or MarTech focused eCommerce experience preferred/desired.
  • Experience in managing digital content will be a plus.
  • Strong experience with Agile Frameworks and Deployment methodologies in a data driven production environment
  • Detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills, able to work under deadlines in a changing environment, and ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to multi-task, working independently and to collaborate with cross functional teams
  • Proven ability to prioritize, communicate clearly, a consistent track record of delivery, and an obsession about the customer experience
  • Experience with Atlassian suite of tools (Jira/Confluence/Structure)


  • Strong strategic, creative thinking and decision-making skills
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work up, down and across organizational levels.
  • Strong business acumen, operations and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to assess current practices, identify opportunities for improvement, and build consensus

  • 4-5 years of Product Management experience, focused on eCommerce or digital capabilities
  • Bachelor's degree in business, IT, Computer Science, or another related field
