POSITION SUMMARY:
The Recruiting and HR Intern will be reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager and work closely with the HR Manager. As an intern, you’ll learn all aspects of HR and recruiting such as managing and scheduling calendars, recruiting KPIS, onboarding paperwork and much more. You will build relevant experience in talent acquisition that you can apply in the real world.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support Talent Acquisition Manager on various projects and administrative tasks.
- Assist with the full cycle recruiting from start to finish including help identify top talent to employee welcome procedures.
- Maintain scheduling for hiring managers and candidates.
- Work closely with Talent Acquisition Manager on reference checks prior to making offers.
- Review recruiting inbox with TA Manager, making sure to respond efficiently and empty any unnecessary email chains.
- Assist with various HR projects on research and gathering data such as “WANGOUT” events, employee appreciation breakfast, etc.
- Help with creating and scheduling ‘Welcome Employee’ memo.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Currently majoring in Human Resources, Business, or any related fields.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Organized and detail oriented.
- Interested in business, human resources, recruiting, and fashion.
