Art Director

BY FAR is looking to hire an Art Director to join our office in London to help craft and manage our creative narrative. The person assigned will be responsible for conceptualising, designing, developing, and implementing original creative ideas in relation to the overall Marketing and Brand strategy of the company.

A breakout social media success, BY FAR has earned a cult following among the fashion crowd, with a steady stream of influencers, actresses and stylists trotting the globe in BY FAR’s mini bags, simple booties and square-toe sandals that anticipate that 90s coolness. 

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE 

• Understand marketing initiatives, strategic positioning and target audience; 
• Collaborate with the rest of the creative team across all touch points; 
• Take work from concept to final execution within deadlines; 
• Present completed ideas to senior management; 
• Conceptualise and manage shoots; 
• Prepare and manage other creative post-production; 
• Be responsible for the accurate implementation of BY FAR brand identity across all touch points; 
• Manage and delegate responsibilities to other designers and provide directions. 

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 

• At least 5 years working experience as an Art Director; 
• Strong digital experience (Social, app, immersive);
• Excellent knowledge in typography, print production and package design; 
• Experience in leading a team; 
• Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio; 
• Team player with strong communication and presentation skills; 
• Knowledge of 3D/CGI visual language;
• Proficient use of Adobe Suite, Figma and other visual design tools; 
• Proficient in video editing and animation tools; 
• Must be fluent in English, another language is a plus.
