STORE AND E-COMMERCE MANAGER

 

We are looking for a Boutique and e-commerce Manager.

It is a very autonomous role needing someone with an entrepreneurial mindset and a capability to get involved with all aspects of the business including social media, e-commerce/ omni-channel as well as having a strong retail management background.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

To manage the HUISHAN ZHANG flagship retail store located in Mayfair, London. To set forth and implement the retail sales and operational strategy with the following goals:

 

  • Maximise retail sales margin
  • Driving shop KPI's on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
  • Delivering exemplary customer service through the development of a highly trained team with exceptional product knowledge and service know-how
  • Successfully organising and implementing in-store marketing promotions and events
  • Maintaining excellent product presentation and high standards of merchandising at all times
  • Driving efficiency's and processes across the store, to include maintenance of stock levels and control of replenishment
  • Building an invaluable network within the community to drive brand awareness and footfall
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Manage all operational aspects of the retail store

   A) SALES

 

  1. Maximizing sales to achieve and surpass sales objectives and monitor performance and KPIs against budget and last year and react to improve results Maintaining close and consistent relations with key customers (VIPs, regular customers, etc) Resolving any conflicts or difficulties with the clientele Offer an after-sales service for delivery, special orders, and repairs Develop customer loyalty and exceed their expectations Manage the e-com sales and after-sales Manage communication with e-com clients and potential clients Managing customer communications, both personally and with other operational departments Upload products and assets to our website catalog Survey competitors’ projects or events Create in-store and other events for customers to promote sales and the brand. Create connections and manage interaction with local (eg. Hotels) and industry figures to promote sales Propose and implement an end-of-season sales strategy to minimize mark-downs and maximize margin Construct and regularly distribute management reports - weekly / monthly / seasonally and yearly. Leverage your Customer Relationship Management (CRM), clienteling and store reports to support the development of a loyal customer base and develop your team to achieve the highest quality of customer profile capture with every transaction Organizing and managing sample sales and off-price sales

B) OPERATIONS

 

 

Achievement of store objectives agreed seasonally and annually with your Manager

Managing the presentation and appearance of the store environment in line with the brand’s identity

Stock management to optimize stock levels, ensure the safe storage and proper identification of stock

Manage and reduce the stock loss for the store

Management of store operating systems such as tills, customer database, and counting, stock management systems, reporting

Construct and manage all store processes to be included in the Store Employee Handbook

Working closely with the production and sales teams, to propose the buying plan every season, specifically for amounts and quantities of styles, sizes, repetitions, etc

Ensure the store operates according to and in compliance with all regulatory, environmental, and legal rules and requirements

Compiling a customer database and updating it regularly Proposing an annual store promotion plan

Manage general office upkeep

Essential skills and experience

  • Assistant Manager or Manager experience in a structured luxury retail environment
  • Confidence in managing e-commerce (experience with Shopify would be ideal)
  • Hands-on approach to team and operational management of the business
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels and influence those around them
  • Ability to form open, respectful, and trusting relationships with all members of the direct team, and wider business
  • Ability to prioritize workload, manage expectations of those around them
  • Positive and enthusiastic nature, and ability to lead from the front, inspiring others
  • Professional and discreet in nature
  • Extensive knowledge of luxury Womenswear
  • Brand ambassador for HUISHAN ZHANG representing and upholding our brand values at all times
