We're the customer experts and advocates. Our teams work on the end-to-end product lifecycle; from understanding the motivations and needs of our customers and partners to designing and testing hypotheses, to creating industry-leading experiences for luxury shoppers, sellers, and service providers. We set our Product vision and achieve our strategy in close partnership with teams across the business

THE ROLE

You will be leading research efforts touching on the Partner experience in one of FARFETCH's Platform Product domains. You'll become the go-to person for any user research and customer insights there. You'll initiate, own and deliver user insights autonomously, and with your research peers in the other domains as a support network.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

    • Identify important stakeholders, their product priorities and the impacted customers; help the team define and prioritise their research needs; recommend the best research approach to meet their needs
    • Autonomously carry out research from tactical to strategic using a wide range of research methods, e.g. remote interviews, field research, ad-hoc surveys, unmoderated research, customer journey mapping, ...
    • Deliver actionable insights in impactful and creative ways (e.g. reports, journey maps, personas, workshops, ...); support your product domain's decision-making process using the right evidence
    • Build new relationships with multiple cross-functional team leaders in your product domain and nurture them continuously
    • Become the expert for the customers your product domain serves; know their current E2E experience and journeys inside-out with all the pain points, unmet needs and expectations
    • Educate about and advocate for UX research in teams that don't yet have it as part of their culture and develop your team's understanding of the value research can provide to their work and when and how to best work with you
    • Contribute to the growth and skill development of more junior research team members


WHO YOU ARE

    • Passionate about researching the B2B side of the Farfetch platform, helping small and large businesses to thrive with Farfetch; excited and intrigued by needing to figure out complex technical systems.
    • 3-5y of experience of advocating for and delivering UX Research in different commercial environments
    • 1-2y of experience leading research, i.e. being responsible for initiating, planning and delivering research of medium to high-level of complexity, from start to finish
    • Seasoned UX researcher with a strong portfolio in a wide range of qual and quant methods, in exploratory, generative and evaluative research, all of which you can deliver autonomously and to high quality standards
    • Effective in seeking out, building and maintaining strong and trusting relationships with key stakeholders across the business
    • Effective and compelling communicator: You distil complex ideas and package them for easy consumption. You are able to communicate research findings clearly, accurately and compellingly in written, verbal, non-verbal and visual forms of communication; excellent English, verbally and written
    • Self-sufficient and creative problem solver who can work independently
    • Strong commercial awareness and business acumen
    • You thrive in an agile, ever-changing, and demanding environment that requires multi- tasking
    • Effective and comfortable working with remote peers on a continuous basis
    • Experience working in an B2B environment
    • Familiar with service design approach and/or a product design background
    • Experience working in a global company with good cultural awareness and understanding of how to navigate them effectively
