Senior Product Manager - Outfits ProgramAs a Senior Product Manager in the Outfits Program you will join a diverse, customer-obsessed team on a mission to inspire and entertain Zalando customers through fresh ideas and playful experiences involving fashion, beauty and lifestyle. Through our partnerships with hundreds of style creators across Europe, our algorithmic outfit generation capabilities and exciting new initiatives we want to make Zalando the starting point for fashion inspiration. As a Senior Product Manager in the program you will shape and deliver products, features and experiences which delight current and future Zalando customers.

This is an opportunity to play a key role in a strategic area of focus in the company and shape the future of inspiration at Zalando.
WHERE YOUR EXPERTISE IS NEEDED
  • Translate Zalando and the program's purpose and strategy into actionable, measurable features and experiences
  • Develop deep expertise into how consumers discover and engage with fashion, beauty and lifestyle inspiration and entertainment to define how best for Zalando to serve those needs
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the company to identify how to bring together content and technology to deliver inspirational user experiences - including consideration of content production pipelines and metadata
  • Partner with engineering managers and other product managers to define team priorities, identifying dependencies and trade offs
  • Work with applied scientists to identify opportunities to improve product and content engagement relevancy through machine learning
  • Create alignment around these ideas through communication formats such as PRFAQs
  • Consider the end to end delivery and ongoing operational needs of creating features which rely on a scalable pipeline of content


WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • An experienced Senior Product Manager with a track record of delivering creative, customer-facing experiences
  • Demonstrable experience in creating measurable impact in the context of your team and company's overarching strategies
  • A varied toolkit of product management methodologies which you use in the right place at the right time throughout the product lifecycle including in areas including product discovery, experimentation and stakeholder engagement
  • A strong customer focus and and ability to generate actionable insights from a range of data, feedback and market analysis sources
  • Demonstrable experience of building strong relationships and collaborative way of working with engineers, designers and a broad range of stakeholders to deliver impacting
  • Strong product sense which you use to work as part of a multidisciplinary team to design and deliver impactful experience
  • Excellent written communication skills which can help you create artifacts to drive alignment across multiple teams in different countries with different goals and different levels of understanding of your goals
  • Great storytelling skills to help you communicate your visio, and strategy
  • An interest in and understanding of social media, fashion and digital storytelling products and content sources
