WHY YOU SHOULD BE INTERESTED
  • Lead the Reward Services Team in Berlin which currently consists of 16 employees from all over the world.
  • Build and drive Reward Services strategies globally.
  • Be responsible for National and International Payroll, Benefits and Equity administration.
  • Standardise and harmonise different processes within your remit and develop KPIs to establish measurability and comparability of individual tasks.
  • Be a primary point of contact for Reward Services related queries from management board, senior management, works council, business partners, stakeholders and colleagues.
  • Act as a back-up to our P&O colleagues on topics such as commuting, contracts, working from abroad, relocation and sabbatical applications.
  • Being fully responsible for internal and external audits, for example mandatory social security and tax audits.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of people-related policies.
  • Liaise with external partners such as our payroll provider, lawyers, tax advisors, insurance and healthcare vendors to ensure legal compliance.
  • Investigate fraud trends and identify patterns and translate these into anti-fraud rules and provide recommendations on fraud prevention tools.
  • Monitor the day-to-day payroll operations within the different companies and guarantee punctual and correct payment of all tax, social security and salary payments along with your team.
  • You are responsible for all data protection-related issues and cooperate with the relevant internal departments.
  • Organise and host training for your team and for stakeholders within the company.
  • Support personnel accounting to optimise finance and accounting processes.
  • Develop methods for minimising financial risk just like an accounts receivable management or the reconciliation of booking accounts.
WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF
  • You have 8+ years experience, ideally in both national and international payroll, and minimum 4+ years experience in leading and managing a team. Knowledge of equity-based compensation would be beneficial.
  • You are a strong learner and keen to further expand your tool kit.
  • You have a good knowledge of labour-, social security- and tax law and you have heard about ifrs and skr 04.
  • You remain solution-oriented and flexible, embracing change and seeking new opportunities in our agile work culture; you are stress resistant, demonstrate strong ownership and work independently
  • You are fluent in German and English and you are looking forward to an international working environment.
  • You effectively communicate to different audiences incl. senior stakeholders; you actively listen and easily decompose problems as the basis to craft suitable solutions
  • You are enthusiastic about strategic long-term Reward Services projects but don't shy away from taking on operational tasks anytime needed.
  • You have strong numerical analytical skills and you are result and detail oriented.
  • You have good knowledge of Excel, Google Sheets, SAP HCM. Ideally, you are familiar with Workday.
  • You enjoy your work and manage to inspire people for your topics.
