The Analyst will drive the preparation and development of trend analyses which identify channel and product risks and opportunities, providing management and key stakeholders with timely and accurate information for decision-making. This candidate will also lead scheduled reporting and comprehensive summarization of worldwide/regional actuals, plans and forecasts for product sales, inventory, profitability & pricing adjustments.

Additional responsibilities include development of dynamic analysis and performance dashboards; supporting ad hoc analyses and presentation needs for management and key collaborators. Initiating successful collaboration and effective communication across multiple organizational levels and functional areas including Merchandising, Finance, Legal & Marketing.

Reporting:

Manage the timely cadence and distribution of accurate weekly, monthly, quarterly & annual performance reporting. Apply exploratory analysis to develop relevant and concise business performance commentary to accompany reporting, providing visibility into key business drivers and qualitative insights. Maintain accurate reporting variables and mapping references linked to product attributes and sales KPIs.

Partner with team and management on ad-hoc reporting analysis and presentation needs which supports strategic decision-making among cross-functional audience including Merchandising, Finance, Legal and Marketing among others. Proactively seek to identify opportunities for process improvement and reporting optimization.

Become a subject matter expert for centralized reporting and analysis. Demonstrate sincere interest and ownership of assigned projects. Collaborate willingly to support team initiatives and achieve departmental goals.

Advanced Analytics:

Leverage quantitative & qualitative analytical skills to identify and interpret trends, using data storytelling to convey business narratives. Creatively support the advancement of performance reporting interpretation and adoption across the immediate team and cross functional partners

Apply expertise in working with large volumes of data - including modeling, transformation and mapping - for master data segmentation and visualization across reporting platforms (Business Objects, Power BI, Tableau).

Exploration and Innovation:

Manage through ambiguity to deliver work product in new territory to measure and communicate business performance. Lean into innovation to uncover new ways of organizing and interpreting data. Contribute to new ways of summarizing opportunities for executive audience. Pursue knowledge which improves reporting efficiency and champion change.

Required:

Bachelor's degree in quantitative discipline (i.e., economics, statistics, finance, data science/analysis)

4+ years of experience in a similar role involving business, sales, financial or product analysis

Advanced proficiency with Microsoft office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Word, etc.)

Superior quantitative analytical & problem-solving skills

Clarity in communication, both verbal and written

Functional knowledge of Microsoft Power BI Desktop & Service

Preferred:

Business Objects, Microsoft Power Query/Automate, Retail Math

Functional understanding of foundational statistics

Data visualization and story-telling skills in: Power Point, Power BI, Tableau, Visio, etc.

Optional - Basic knowledge of SQL, R or RapidMiner/ Predictive Analysis Skills
