About the role:

We have a unique Client Relations Manager (CRM) opportunity available for our Melbourne Market.

In this role you will be responsible for recruiting high net worth clients to the business as well as coaching, developing and driving intensified clienteling efforts of the Melbourne team (across 3 stores) to maximise new client recruitment and retention in the Melbourne market.

This role reports directly to the Retail Director Melbourne, and functionally into the Client Relations Manager, Australia and New Zealand.

Responsibilities:

The CRM is directly responsible for deepening the relationships with our high value clients to achieve our commercial sales plan and drive lifetime loyalty and spend. The CRM will manage and motivate the team to consistently achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual store High Jewellery sales plan. Drive client development activities among individual team members to cultivate new and existing clients, helping curate elevated on-brand client experiences for their clients to achieve sales.

This will be accomplished through innovative strategies, a growth and an entrepreneurial mindset and collaborative partnerships with the Client Relations Manager ANZ, Retail Director Melbourne, Marketing/Public Relations/Creative Visual Merchandising and Store/Sales Managers and Client Advisors. The CRM will work with Retail Events Specialist to create retail events and activations to execute the client development strategy.

Experience:

Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of retail or luxury retail management, client development management or private client management experience
  • Proven track record in sales generation, managing the achievement of sales results.
  • Proven experience in managing high net worth clients
  • Understands elevated client experience and how to entertain Sydney's most lucrative client portfolio
  • Appreciation for lifestyle and culture, keeps up to date with key trends and cultural events that luxury clients take an interest in
  • Strong networker and experience with collaborating with businesses to run co-partner events
  • Experience in public speaking and presentations
  • Proven ability to develop new opportunities and maintain client relationships while ensuring brand recognition and penetration in market.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio, Power Point, Client tracking systems and Point of Sales (POS) system.
  • Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to travel interstate or internationally.
  • Must have authorization to work in Australia.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • A college/university degree
  • Graduate gemologist degree or previous Gemological Association of Australia (GAA) course work is preferred.
