The Manager - IT Change and Operational Effectiveness focuses on ensuring that the IT organization "does the right things" through strategy and governance, as well as "doing things right" through interpersonal, operational management and IT performance management.
Partnering with HR, this position is responsible for implementing initiatives that cultivate an impactful and engaged IT workforce, cultural development and organizational change that enable IT Transformation.
In addition, this role owns the IT governance and communications model, working closely with all IT areas to ensure consistency, efficiency, and customer happiness in IT communications.
Responsibilities:
Drive performance through the establishment and management of strategic KPIs
Proactively find opportunities for improvement and areas of flexibility as IT initiatives and priorities shift
Develops specific tools for IT cultural transformation; improved team dynamics and networks; and effective leadership and matrix behaviors
Develops IT specific Learning & Development strategies and programs/roadmap based on proficiency model standard methodologies; Liaison with IT leadership to drive and implement.
Drive effective sharing of information for IT's internal and external audiences, through the development of harmonized tools and standard methodologies that all areas in IT can demonstrate - including communications on issues, maintenance, incidents; strategy cascade and transformation status; Success stories and progress (PR); Education opportunities (i.e. cybersecurity)
Leads IT governance model for Operations and Transformation, driving continuous improvement
Partnering with other leaders in IT Transformation Office, rollout Organizational Change framework for small to medium sized projects where dedicated OCM resources might not be available
Align the leadership team around the accurate measurements for IT organization performance and report on those measurements regularly
Collaborates with internal IT subject matter experts for the purpose of designing, conducting and evaluating training content, methods, materials and program scheduling.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree technology or related field and/or equivalent experience
6+ years of proven track record leading IT performance and operational efficiency initiatives
6+ years of experience driving Learning & Development formal programs in IT
5+ years of experience leading organizational change and effectiveness
Knowledge of project management practices
Ability to make data capturing specific and relevant to drive insights
Ability to build and maintain effective partnerships
Ability to interact positively with a diverse group of individuals and recognize key collaborators and develop tactics to effectively implement change.
Authentic curiosity and learning agility to deeply understand organization needs.
Desire and ability to mentor staff and project teams.
Consultative skills, such as workshop facilitation, synthesize information into presentations with practical recommendations.
Must be independent, self-motivated and detailed oriented.
Preferred:
Experience in Retail and/or Consumer Product Goods
