The Director - Creative Visual Merchandising (CVM) Market Operations role is responsible for guiding Market CVM team members on leveraging and adapting CVM initiatives to drive business results in their Market while building strong partnerships with key Retail partners. Identify opportunities for process improvement and for training within the Markets - to ultimately uphold the Tiffany & Co. brand story through a cohesive blend of creativity and commerciality.

Creative Campaigns
  • Strategize with Market CVM and Market leaders on how Global CVM campaign direction can be leveraged to support local Market initiatives and to drive traffic to stores.
  • Work with Market CVM and Global CVM on bespoke creative requests that support market nuances and local initiatives.
  • Partner with Market CVM to ensure the merchandise selected for each creative campaign fixture is the best and boldest while being properly installed, styled and lit to create an impactful presentation. Liaise with Global CVM Training if there is an opportunity for skill set or knowledge development.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement at any stage of the creative campaign process, including for local production.
  • Partner with Market CVM, Market leaders and Global CVM on interpreting the effectiveness of creative campaign results.

Visual Merchandising
  • Liaise with Global Visual Merchandising (VM) and Global CVM Training if there is any opportunity for skill set or knowledge development.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement at any stage of the VM floorplan process or for implementing and maintaining VM standards in the stores.
  • Partner with Market CVM, Market leaders and Global CVM on interpreting the effectiveness of company product initiatives that are highlighted within our case line and creative fixtures.
  • In-Store Environments and Retail Activations
  • Strategize with Market CVM and Market leaders on how Global CVM retail activation and in-store environment programs can be leveraged to support local Market initiatives and to drive traffic to stores.
  • Work with Market CVM to ensure all aspects of the CVM deliverables are accounted for and done in partnership with Global CVM.
  • Lead review of production samples and materials, in partnership with Market and Global CVM.
  • Partner with Market CVM, Market leaders and Global CVM to review business impact and effectiveness of the initiative

Events & Exhibitions
  • Support Market CVM and Market leaders to ensure Global CVM event direction is leveraged to align with local Market initiatives.
  • Work with Market CVM to ensure all aspects of the CVM deliverables are accounted for and done in partnership with Global CVM.
  • Lead review of production samples and materials, in partnership with Market and Global CVM
  • Partner with Market CVM, Market leaders and Global CVM to review business impact and effectiveness of the initiative.

New Store Openings
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement at any stage of the new store opening or renovation process.
  • Liaise with Global CVM Training if there is any opportunity for skill set or knowledge development. Partner with Market CVM, Market stakeholders and Global CVM Training on pre and post-opening training plans.
  • Partner with Market CVM, Market leaders and Global CVM on interpreting the business impact and effectiveness of the new store implementation.

REQUIREMENTS QUALIFICATIONS
  • 10 years experience in merchandising, visual display, styling, or related areas - preferably luxury retail.
  • Strong attention to detail and demonstrated analytical skills. Previous Merchandising and/or Visual Merchandising experience preferred.
  • Strong written and visual communication skills a necessity.
  • Strong diplomacy skills and sound decision making skills. Ambitious, flexible, communicative, self motivated with a strong drive for achievement.
  • Comfortable & experienced with managing a growing staff (their work load & job performance).
  • Computer proficiency skills required: Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Power Point and InDesign.

PREFFERED QUALIFACTIONS
  • Able to work with a variety of people and present ideas and information to group.
  • Must have ability to travel.
  • Experience working in a luxury retail setting is preferred.
  • College degree or related equivalent experience.
