The Human Resources Manager will support our greatest asset, our People, to drive and exceed business results. Under the guidance of the Human Resources Director, this role will partner with our Retail Teams, After-Sales Center and functional business partners based in the country. The core responsibilities of the role include workforce management, benefits and leave administration, compliance, consultative and strategic thought partner to our People Managers. This role will act as a conduit of alignment amongst North America for initiatives and projects, in addition to in-country projects.

Core HR Service Excellence

• Employee Services - Act as first point of contact for all employee inquiries as it pertains to policy, procedure, benefits, leaves, employee relations, performance, HRIS, etc
• Benefits - Through our third-party agency, and in partnership with HRIS, monitor and support the administration process of our new hires and annual open enrollment
• Leaves - Through our third-party agency, support the administration and timely updates of our leave process; partner with People Managers to ensure strategic talent is mapped
• Payroll - Partner with Manager, Commission & Incentives and Canada Payroll representative, to audit employees on Leave or issue one-off/one-time payments for top talent
• Compliance - Act as key liaison between external council, with guidance from HR Director for all compliance inquiries, including but not limited to, employment law by province. Follow up with Global Employee Relations to ensure updates to policy and procedures are executed
• Health & Safety - Act as a partner to Global COE and Loss Prevention Manager to ensure empathy for our People and continuity in our business
• Employee Relations & Investigations - Upon initial intake, Partner with People Managers and Global Employee Relations to ensure best teams are built and maintained with consistency
• HRIS - Post initial intake, partner with Global HRIS, Recruiter and People Manager to ensure data accuracy

Talent & Workforce Management

• In partnership with HR Director, ensure an aligned Talent Strategy with business objectives and results
• Maintain FTE/Headcount sheets, ensuring timely updates on leaves and performance with updates to Recruiter and Finance
• Assist People Managers with new hire onboarding for Team Managers & above, with support and alignment of Retail Learning Manager
• Provide updates to Market Coordinator for organizational charts
• Leverage the Global COE & Group Resources in developing, delivering, and executing a high-performing Talent Strategy
• In partnership with HR Director, support People Managers through Talent Review, Succession Planning and Annual Review Processes
• Continuously review and analyze Talent needs/insights of country to remain an Employer of Choice
• Assist with compensation reviews to ensure that compensation is competitive and equitable internally and externally; Liaise with Global Total Rewards and employee services to resolve issues
• Monitor Global L&D Programs and develop communications to ensure employees are progressing through training initiatives

DEI, Program Delivery & Ad-Hoc Projects

• Inspire a culture of celebration, appreciation, and recognition to drive performance and motivate
• Ensure the integration of DEI within day-to-day practices that cultivate both a diverse and inclusive workforce, in which all individuals have equal access to opportunities and resources
• Continuously coach and develop People Managers on their DEI competency, inclusive of key metrics and recruitment strategy
• Collaborate with Global COEs on strategic delivery of various programs
• Track HR related activity and provide ad hoc reports/statistics to support departmental goals and initiatives
• Liaise with HR Projects Coordinator, Americas

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience
• 5+ years of Human Resources experience
• Strong interpersonal, communication, follow-up, problem solving and creative thinking skills
• Strong teamwork and team leadership skills
• Demonstrated expertise & proven success in HR service delivery
• Strong computer skills with MS Office and HRIS
• Must be organized, detail oriented, demonstrated project management skills, able to work independently and handle multiple priorities/projects simultaneously
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
