[Overview]

This position will lead the strategic planning of merchandise assortment and demand planning for Tiffany Korea. Critical success to the role is securing the right mix of products that are brand elevating, in-sync with the marketing campaigns and events. A keen eye for details with strong sense of the overall competitors' landscape and consumer trends are essential.

[Key Accountabilities]

Develop the merchandise strategy that aligns with the annual and long term plan (40%)
  • Set up the right assortment mix by store profiles to achieve their business plans
  • Lead space optimization and caseline productivity: provide pad count allocation by collection by store. Partner with market leaders to increase caseline productivity.
  • Lead Retail Communications around new product launches and major merchandising initiatives.
  • Conduct market and competitors analysis and provide inputs on pricing
  • Work with stores and CVM teams to best present the assortment that elevate the clients experience through caseline and windows

Events, Traveling Collection and High Jewelry (HJ) Support (30%)
  • Curate the assortment in line with events theme to achieve business objectives
  • Work closely with global teams to secure HJ assortment as part of brand elevation
  • Work closely with TSC for HJ inspection, ensuring high standards of handling are in place
  • Provide merchandise consultation to HJ clients at events

Demand and Replenishment (20%)
  • Ensure inventory depth and replenishment are optimized and on time
  • Proactive drive inventory requirements and provide robust forecast ahead of time for major campaign launches
  • Ensure minimized sold orders and inventory gap at stores

Team Management, Collaboration and Leadership (10%)
  • Develop professional staff to be result-driven, self-started aligned to the Tiffany competency model
  • Drive alignment of strategic and operational objectives through regular and clear communication through appropriate departments (Sales, Training, Finance, Marketing)
  • Drive productive collaboration throughout the organization


[Qualifications]

Required
  • University Graduate or higher
  • Over 15 years in similar roles, managing luxury jewelry or fashion merchandise team
  • Strong demand, replenishment and planning skills
  • Experience in team management
  • Demonstrate high sense of luxury lifestyle
  • Highly Proficiency in English and proven experience working with global and regional teams
  • Driven, energetic and independent

Preferred
  • Working experience in global luxury organization
  • Jewelry & Watch industry experience
  • Solid knowledge base on gemstone, jewelry and timepieces - GIA Certification is a plus
