Vestiaire Collective is looking for a Data Engineering Intern for 6 months starting in June to join our Data team in Paris
About the role
As a data engineer intern, you will join a team of Data Scientists and Data Engineers to help them improve the Data Platform and build tools to support Vestiaire Collective's usage of data.
What you'll do
- Extract data from new sources (internal database, third-party sources, ...)
- Work on real-time pipelines (import, manipulate and serve data to support Data Scientists and Analysts)
- Create APIs to serve the results of our models/analysis
- Build the architecture of our tools in AWS cloud
- Learn to use the newest technologies (among which AWS services, Kubernetes, Snowflake, ElasticSearch, Kafka and any technology you think can be useful) to keep the team ahead of the curve.
Who you are
- Currently enrolled in a Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related technical field
- Good level in Python (or other programming language), SQL/NoSQL and Git
- A strong ability to manipulate data
- A prior experience working with cloud-based technologies a plus
- Problem solver with strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and empathy.
- You need to be able to defend your technical choice in English. French is a plus.
