TheCoordinator, Corporate & Associate Communications is responsible for supporting with the day-to-day management and execution of communications strategies, programs and activities for the North America and Latin America regions. This includes corporate, executive and associate communications, Corporate Responsibility and crisis communications. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling and developing compelling narratives that drive brand awareness and engagement, backed by strong copywriting skills and experience in communications.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support with writing, editing and proofreading internal and external communications materials including Q&As, press releases, speeches, interview talking points, corporate statements, and executive presentations.
  • Conceptualize and produce content for internal communications channels with a focus on building measurable associate awareness and interest.
  • Develop a strong knowledge of all global brand assets, written and visual, to handle internal and external usage requests.
  • Assist with the development of creative assets and presentations by putting together detailed briefs and working in close partnership with the Creative Studio.
  • Support with the coordination and production of internal events, town halls, executive videos and speaking opportunities.
  • Manage the daily monitoring and clipping of all brand mentions in the press including news-related items, editorial features, photos and videos.
  • Monitor press for crisis-related news and proactively communicate coverage to the team.
  • Deploy internal communications memos and newsletters for Americas.
  • Create event recaps and reports for all brand initiatives including fashion shows, business announcements, and brand events.
  • Liaise with the Tommy Hilfiger global marketing and communications teams in Amsterdam and parent company PVH Corp. communications team as needed for day-to-day tasks, seasonal/annual initiatives, and special projects.
  • Invoice management for Communications projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 3 years of working experience with in-house or agency PR/communications, copywriting or relevant functions
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Marketing, Communications or Journalism
  • Strong copywriting and proofreading skills, and proficiency with AP style writing
  • Strengths in analyzing and summarizing high volumes of information
  • Strong networking capabilities to develop working relationships across the organizations that are needed to complete key tasks and projects

  • Responsive and service minded
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, Keynote and Photoshop
  • North America Communications invoices (with advisement of supervisors)

  • Must be able to find the best solutions and develop methods to improve efficiency
