PR & MARKETING EXECUTIVE

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Marketing team and play a pivotal role in coordination and management of Frescobol Carioca’s creative content, social media and PR functions. A natural storyteller, you should be creative yet analytical, with excellent copywriting skills and impeccable attention to detail.

Reporting to the Brand Marketing Manager, this role will focus on achieving maximum, quality exposure for Frescobol Carioca at a global level across owned, earned and paid channels. This role will also own external and internal sample movement, press requests while also providing support to key Marketing and E-Commerce functions across the business.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Public Relations

  • Secure press coverage within local and international publications
  • Support in the roll out of new product launches by creating and leading all PR pitches
  • Managing the creation and distribution of press releases and visual assets
  • Managing and developing editorial contact list amongst editors, stylists and taste makers
  • VIP relations management  
  • Ensuring press clippings are filed and circulated internally. Compiling monthly and annual reports on all PR coverage
  • Daily monitoring of relevant media coverage (both online and offline)
  • Global sample management – managing sample send outs and returns for gifting or press loans


Social Media

  • Operate the Frescobol Carioca social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter) ensuring that content is in line with the Marketing /Commercial calendar
  • Alongside the Digital Designer, responsible for forward planning and scheduling of all social media posts and campaigns, using scheduling tools as relevant
  • Secure influencer coverage – dedicating time to nurturing relationships with existing influencer pool and securing new relationships
  • Respond in real time to new content and cultural moments, working with the whole Marketing team to amplify press and VIP stories
  • Cultivate a meaningful approach to Instagram stories utilising collection, press and UGC
  • Present new, innovative, and creative ideas for posts and stories to drive follower engagement and growth
  • Community management - responsible for daily interaction and engagement, including referrals to customer service team and escalating comments to the wider team


Marketing

  • Support the Marketing team on the roll out of key campaigns, product launches, special projects and partnerships
  • Analysis on emerging trends ahead of product launches
  • Support with all brand photoshoots including taking ownership of the e-commerce packshots process and managing all samples for e-commerce and campaign shoots
  • Assist in developing our CRM campaigns by creating and writing two newsletters a week in collaboration with the in-house Digital Designer
  • Become the champion for all assets and press materials for clients/editors who request materials to be used across both online and offline platforms
  • Responsible to for all copywriting needs across the brand: press releases, product descriptions, newsletters, social media, website journal stories and corporate presentations


Reporting

  • Work to agreed KPIs and objectives set with the Head of Marketing & Growth and Brand Marketing Manager
  • Analyse and report on successes and failures within the marketing and communications space, implementing key learnings to continue growth within key outbound functions


SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

  • 1-2 years in a similar public relations, social media or marketing role at a luxury brand
  • Passionate about social media, culture, and menswear
  • Impeccable attention to detail Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Strong working knowledge of social media platforms (in particular Instagram and Facebook)
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • A genuine interest in creative industries and cultures with a good understanding of the media and digital landscapes
  • Self-motivated, reliable, proactive and positive
  • You must be a confident team player, who is able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
