Inhouse Investigator (m/f/d)
HUGO BOSS AG | Metzingen near Stuttgart | Germany | Full-time

As an Inhouse Investigator (m/f/d) you are part of the Global Brand Protection Team and you will support numerous areas of the business by identifying and capturing digital intelligence, as well as coordinating and assisting with other cross-functional department projects.

What you can expect:

• Responsible for identifying and investigating criminal activities relating to intellectual property and trademark violations for all HUGO BOSS brands
• Coordinate investigative efforts with Private Investigative Groups, Local Law Enforcement, Customs Agencies and Corporate Attorneys
• Preparation and database management of case reports covering investigative details and findings as well as identifying control weakness with recommended solutions
• Conduct regional web and on the ground investigations
• Conduct training with local authorities, and maintain and evolve our global training programs for our internal and external partners
• Perform market surveys to identify other infringing or Intellectual Property Rights. Other duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary by HUGO BOSS Brand Protection leadership
  

Your profile:

• Bachelor`s degree or equivalent required
• Several years of experience with investigations, brand protection, or asset protection
• Knowledgeable in intellectual property rights and anti-counterfeiting
• Experience investigating on-line and off-line infringements and familiarity with Internet law
• Proficient with e-commerce, social media, NFT and metaverse and other digital platforms
• Outstanding attention to detail with an ability to multi-task and problem solve
• Strong communication skills in English (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality while working on high sensitive matters
• Must demonstrate an ability to work independently
