JOB PURPOSE
The Business Analyst will lead the collection, analysis and prioritisation of requirements for change within new Retail IT projects; focusing on meeting the goals and objectives of the business. You will primarily collaborate with designated business functions, Project Managers, Solution Architects and Solution Providers.
The Retail IT team has a global responsibility to support colleagues across the Burberry retail estate. With a focus on people and process requirements to deliver excellent instore experiences for customers and associates alike through the innovation of retail journeys that are underpinned by quality IT applications. Because of this, you will need to travel to work closely with Retail colleagues, at the London headquarters with the potential for travel to stores /sites in the UK and beyond.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Scope new project and small change initiatives ensuring the impact and scale of the change is understood, outcomes are clear and aligned to the Retail roadmap
- Gather, prioritise and document business requirements aligned with the key drivers for change and ensure they are understood by both the business and technical teams
- Assess the impacts of a change to people, process and technology and ensure there is a plan to address the impacts
- Drive the business analysis activities from initiation to implementation including supporting UAT
- Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders at all levels to ensure the delivered solution aligns with business requirements and objectives
- Lead and contribute to identifying opportunities to continuously improve the business analysis capability and wider team ways of working
PERSONAL PROFILE
- Experience in business analysis working on large and complex enterprise level change projects
- Experience in a Retail environment - desirable
- Experience with POS and Payments
- Awareness of Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Ability to decompose a challenge into smaller parts and address the parts in a disciplined manner, individually or as a part of a team
- Ability to collaborate with wider IT and business skillsets to assess problems and adapt approaches to meet objectives
- Ability and presence to collaborate with the leaders of business functions
- Ability to translate business functional language into requirements for services
- Ability to explain an approach and expectations of Business Analysis activity to business stakeholders and collaborators
