POSITION SUMMARY: The Merchandise Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the data entry and reporting of merchandise purchases, markdowns, and business analysis summaries. He or she will act as the communication liaison to Licensees, Sourcing, Operations, Planning, Warehouse, and Stores.

  • Enter all purchase orders and manage end to end process to ensure accurate delivery of goods.
  • Create and update purchase commit sheets
  • Maintain Purchase Order Log and Receipt Tracker
  • Assist in pulling Weekly and Monthly Sales Reports and analyze data to understand the business
  • Follow up on delivery information to warehouse
  • Communicate with warehouse on ticket or carton label issues
  • Communicate with cross-functional partners to facilitate business and maintain partnerships
  • Pull best-selling styles for weekly business update meetings as directed by manager
  • Assist in preparation for key milestone meetings and deliverables
  • Manage, track and organize samples, keep racks in order


  • Merchandising experience a plus
  • 3-6 month related internship experience preferred
  • Flexible to deadline demands, ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.

  • College graduate and/or industry trained professional
  • Technical knowledge in PC based systems and application software such as Island Pacific
  • Strong communication and problem solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
